I love the FAST check in. This is my second time here. No issues. No hidden fees because yes some hotels ask for $$ as a deposit. Very cheap rooms if you’re looking for fast, quick service and there are restaurants all over.
The staff was great but the mattress in the room needs to be changed out and they need microwaves in every room..

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
I come down this way and I have stayed here before it doesn't seem that the renovations are going very well. The bed was comfortable and linens were cleaned the bathtub good for baths. My TV didn't work but I didn't complain
The room was clean. It was accessible and that was good for me. No one from house keeping came by to see if we needed towels or anything. No trash pickup. Could not get to pool and at one time could not get into pool because it was locked.
We were turned away, we did not stay, due to the damage of Hurricane Helene, understandably due to the wreckage. The bigger problem, they attempted to contact, and gave up after three times, and then tell me, “sorry for your luck.” This is a real testament to their customer service and, real business model.
First of all the front office is actually in a room, room 191, which also appears to be storage… the original front office looks torn to pieces through the window. Sheets had burns in them, nothing like cups or coffee in the room, we had to plug the direct tv into the tv ourselves/was dismantled, mildew on the shower curtains, and what appeared to be blood stains on walls in every area (even next to the lock which felt sketchy). This was a visit to my hometown so I didn’t feel unsafe in the area, but this hotel clearly is sketchy. Staff was pretty nice I will say
Room nasty roaches, rat traps in room no pillow cases on pillow only a half roll of tissue in bathroom no trash can in room hotel appearances awful wrong hotel name on facility no one in office at check in had to keep calling and waiting smdh never stayed in such horrible place in my life i need my money back
Hotel did not have a econo lodge sign on the propertie. People were hanging out in front of there rooms and in the parking lot. Property was a total mess. Couldnt find the office to cancel my nights stay and noone would answer the contact phone number. Worst hotel experiance I have ever had.

Because I had a dog and there’s no charge for pets and I had to checkout out of the quality inn hotel do to roaches on the beds, I say it’s a 7! But really nice ppl!
Easy access right off the main highway in Douglas and close to lots of dining and shopping. Only stayed 1 night so didn't get to see very much of the area other than eating out. The hotel is older with some updates like the flooring and paint. It was a decent room and comfortable bed for the room price. No real issues in staying here.
