"Perfect location ! Within an easy walk to the beach as well as all the restaurants and shops in Siesta Village. The free Breeze shuttle was an added plus ! We used it one morning to tour the area and then again to take us into downtown Sarasota. We were stranded an extra 24 hours due to the winter weather and the staff was nice enough to let us leave our luggage in the reception area until we moved to another hotel closer to the airport for the remainder of our trip. There were a few things that would have been appreciated in our room...a broom/dustpan to sweep up sand, tissues and iron board ( there was an iron but no board ! ) and a mirror in the bedroom ( instead of another television ! ) Other than that everything was perfect !"

"The staff was great. The bathrooms were not very clean and in poor condition. The tub finish was chipped/peeling, and the bottom of the tub was discolored and peeling. The bedroom area was fine. The common areas were clean but old. "

"Just really disappointed! I walk in with my daughter a man behind a desk doing something. I unload my backpack and I hear someone saying something so I looked the man behind the desk has his back turned toward me. He wasn’t even looking at me. Then again I hear someone calling so I turned around and I see an atm mashine with a screen and a man in a screen. So I walked in and he said I can check you in. My goodness small little hotel with a robot. Man behind ignores me completely as I looked at them. Anyway I check in got to my room. Right from entrance strong odor. Used the bathroom and realize there is no fan. Try closing the door, they don’t close at all as they are bent. Went to wash my face just to see roaches running around. Cought up few. We looked forward to a good night sleep but it was extremely loud and th bathroom smelled really bad. In the morning housekeeping people opened a room and started asking questions. I had to say we are sleeping. 9:35 am. Anyway we checked out but never stay here again. This place is not very safe either. The area is kind of creepy. "

"Large room. Both beds had squeaks when you got in and out it, waking up partner. Pillows and breakfast were good. A variety of foods. Woman running it should put out food faster after food is depleted. Lots of people there and empty shelves. She needs to wear gloves, put her hand in trash and then touched food. Floors in lobby and on second floor need cleaning, dirt spots. Free parking and free cookies at desk. The hotel is close to downtown with shops, restaurants, beach. Close to Sarasota. Cracker Barrel is on the same street as hotel. The shower head in the bathroom needs to be replaced. It has low pressure. Tried to change the setting on shower head but it is not working. The toilet paper holder is behind the toilet which makes it hard to reach should be to the side of the toilet. They have an extra toilet paper in the bathroom, should consider leaving an extra facial tissue. These always seem to run out when I arrive at a hotel and we have to go down and ask for one. Plenty of towels. The elevator was very slow. It was faster to walk up the stairs than to wait for the elevator. On the side of the elevator door arrow does not light up. Would be nice to see if elevator is going up or down. Should have quiet time from 10 pm to 8 am. Across from us, loud talking slamming doors, even a scream 10 to almost 2 am. Next door to us person had his adjoining door opened, saw light under door, put towels down to block light. Laundry room needs credit card to use. "

"Beautiful place. Check out is at 10 - a bit early. I asked to stay a couple hours in the parking spot so we could go to the beach. It was affirmative and we left 2 hours later, which is the time that was relayed. Then I was charged $11.25. That was not relayed that there would be a charge. "

"The hotel was not a hotel but a motel... they only had bagels for breakfast there was no hot food. The rooms were very small VERY small. The room was clean but the tub was stained and could use an update... This was just a 3 night get away for us but i would of been a little upset if we'd of stayed longer."
