A nice property in a convenient location near Burnaby’s Central Park. The good:- Convenient location- Comfortable beds in 3 bedrooms- 3 full bathrooms and a 1/2 bath- Ample space for our group of 4 adults and 1 child (no couples, so we needed all the rooms)- Reasonably well appointed kitchen- Easy access and check-in- Nice neighbourhood - Great layout, with kitchen and living on the main floor and bedrooms upstairs. - QuietThe not so good:- More care and attention needs to be taken regarding cleaning. When you first walk in, it looks clean (new construction) but as you settle in you notice things. Trash from the previous guest was still in the bin under the sink, a few unclean dishes in the cupboards and drawers, sticky fridge handle, food items in the freezer, footprint on one of the pillowcases, spots around the base of the toilets, dead plant on the windowsill are some examples. The owner/manager did offer to have the cleaner come the next day when I mentioned a couple of the things to him, but we declined as we’d already taken care of it and just wanted to not have to work our day around when the cleaner would be there etc. This is my second stay with similar issues last time, so it’s not a one off occurrence. -Advertised as a 4 bedroom, but the 4th room is a folding sofa and you may need to request bedding. It is short (ok for a child, but kind of small to an adult). We brought a foamie to place on top to make it more comfortable.
