"The hotel and rooms are beautiful. If you enjoy a hot tub, I recommend getting a room with one. We had a large patio with a tub. The staff were great and the breakfast is very good. It’s also in a great area. Very quiet, but just a block or two away from the action of Valletta."

"We had an inner room and for a busy city centre location it was SO quiet. The room and bed were comfortable, fridge and coffee maker, iron + board all provided. The 5th floor roof terrace for breakfast and complimentary snacks 6-8pm was lovely, we were disappointed we couldn’t access at other times. Staff very friendly and helpful, bus info, advice on trips etc. The breakfast included local dishes as well as cereal, fruit, eggs etc. Only downside no “ordinary” / non Maltese fresh coffee (not instant) available."

Housed in a beautiful historic building, this hotel combines old-world elegance with impeccable cleanliness, outstanding service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast à la carte is fantastic, the building is stunning, and everything is beautifully maintained. But what really makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Every member of the team is friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making your stay special. When we needed help finding a doctor, they were incredibly helpful and supportive. That kind of personal care makes all the difference, especially when you’re away from home. You can find beautiful buildings and lovely breakfasts in many places, but it’s the people who turn a good hotel into an exceptional experience. Domus Zamittello gets this absolutely right. Do yourself a favor and stay here! It is worth every penny, and we would return without hesitation. A truly five-star experience that we can wholeheartedly recommend."

"The hotel is in a great location, quiet but close to the main town.The taxi had to drop us in the nearby street, but that wasn’t a problem. It was an easy walk to the Upper Barrakka Gardens, where the lift takes you down to the ferry stops for the 3 cities and Gozo. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was efficient and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. The area where it is served can be a bit crowded, but did not cause us any problems."

"A Fantastic location near all the Valletta sites. Quiet and peaceful but also near the good vibe. Lovely hotel staff who couldn't have helped more. A very nice buffet breakfast which set us up for the day. Room was very comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend"
