「A cottage well equipped to make meals, enjoy sunsets in porch without worry of mosquitos, equipment for folks who enjoy water sports. However, no TV coverage, only WIFI so evenings , if not folks who enjoy doing games, watching DVDs, evenings can be boring. Toilet usage can be a bit troublesome if a large group as takes time for removal of wastes via toilet. Overall, for us, it met our needs. 」

「Lisa's property was perfect for a winter weekend away from the city. The river was running and beautiful to sit next to, and we used the outdoor firepit and indoor fireplace to make everything really cosy.The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen completely equipped for any kind of cooking we wanted to do. 」

「This was a great place to kick back and relax with family. Had a wonderful bbq, great views of the water and comfy beds. Just make sure you bring water shoes as it is rocky but so much fun walking out in the shallow water exploring. 」

「Cute little cottage with all necessary amenities within. Dock area is quiet, and with no neighbours across the river, it has a gorgeous uninterrupted view. Cottage is kept clean although some ants made their way into the kitchen & bathroom. Overall we had a nice stay!」

「Everything was as described. All amenities worked well. Beautiful view and a private beach. A two minute drive to Calabogie golf course was a bonus (and a fantastic course at that!). Quick and easy communication with the host. We will very likely be back in the future. 」

「Was a very good stay. I was personally there for a work trip but brought my wife and shih-tzus along as well. The property is very well set up for dog owners as there is a fenced dog area to let them go pee and even the front deck has a dog gate. Space is very large and quite modern for a cottage. simple kayaks and canoe's on-site. Simple of the infrastructure (i.e. docks and chairs on dock) could use some some repairs. But overall superb stay」

「Lakepoint was amazing! Stayed for a weekend with our dog and the area was perfect. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was functional and bbq was very nice. Gas stations and convenience stores 15 mins away. All together a great comfortable stay 」
