"Very nice hotel. Excellent location on the same mountain as the Uchisar fort and a short walk to Uchisar town center where there are many nice restaurants and shops. Good price. Attentive front desk service. Nice restaurant with killer view. You will see balloons in the early morning from your room or even get to ride in one. Get ready for some stair climbing as the hotel is built into the cliffside. Uchisar is a good distance from Nevsehir airport, almost an hour drive. You can save a bit of money taking the shuttle service unless there are three or more in your party, then taxi is cheaper. They will offer tours. We took the "green tour," very nice, highlight was the underground city, but unfortunately it did deliver us to two tourist traps, a gem store and another store selling various food/supplement items. This might be of interest but you can just go back to the van and wait if you are not interested in that part. We also took the tour to the rug shop--I recommend skipping that as there is a heavy sales pitch."

"This place was amazing and I will be back again. The breakfast was amazing. The staff was awesome. They assisted us with tours and transportation. They were super friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and so clean! Absolutely loved it!!!"

"Love the huge window with a great view of the spines formations and balloons, not to mention the 680-sq ft , spacious room. Hotel’s back has multiple, large terraces where we can enjoy breakfast, or sit on comfortables lounge chairs (some hanging) to view the tall/thin spines in the surroundings and sunrise. It felt like living in a paradise. Restaurants with most delicious food and Uchisar Castle are within walking distance. Friendly and helpful hotel staff gave great recommendations of restaurants and attended to our needs (sometimes even proactively). The tours which we booked and airport transfer all picked up and dropped off at the hotel. Will definitely come back and stay here again."

"This was an excellent choice for the price point. Staff were helpful. Good breakfast. Location was easy to get to (some nearby hotels difficult to find on narrow cobblestone streets). Walking distance to Castle and valley sites. Pleasant stay overall! Would book there again. Bathroom lighting could be brighter."

The room was spotless and cozy, with thoughtful touches like coffees, teas, and everything I could need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is unforgettable—truly one of the best parts of this hotel. I’d honestly recommend planning your activities around it (do your balloon ride early if you must, but make sure everything else is after breakfast!). And the view—absolutely breathtaking. You don’t even need to walk anywhere. The moment you step out of the lobby in the morning, the balloons are right there in the sky. It felt like something out of a dream. Overall, Soldeo Hotel gave me the perfect Cappadocia experience: warm hospitality, clean rooms, incredible breakfast, and a front-row seat to the balloons. Highly recommended!"
