High-end service at Kamelya Cave Hostel

Very friendly and knowledgeable Manager, who reached out by email in advance to suggest tours and activities that we could participate in during our stay. Breakfast on the roof-top, watching the hot air balloons, was delicious and filling. I would highly recommend the Kamelya Cave Hostel for singles, couples or family groups. Very convenient to the main street, restaurants and shops.

I stayed dormitory and slept on the top of bunk bed. But, a lot of sand felt on my bed. I was a little unpleasant. However, staff was so kind and breakfast was pretty good!

Cool hostel, friendly staff, improvements needed

The cave room is really cool, spacious and quiet. The staff guys are so friendly, I liked them a lot. The place was as clean as possible taking in count the large mass of people coming and going. There are quite some improvements that would be welcomed, but that's up to the manager to pursue such as: Bathroom ceiling is very moldy Shower in one of the two bath cabins didn't work properly, leaked on the hose. Trash should be taken out more often as it would fill really quick with so many people present. Some large, like humongous bold letters signs should be put in the bathrooms for guests to clean after themselves, as some are definitely not as considerate as others. Overall I had a nice enough experience, and slept really well. The pros of this place are definitely price and proximity to centrum and view points.

Excellent hostel/hotel with great free breakfast

Perfect location one block from the bus station and the main street. I was so impressed from the minute I entered how clean the hostel was. I stayed in a dorm room and the sheets and duvet crisp white and very comfortable. The free breakfast was extensive and a great value that included 2 courses of food. I can't wait to return to stay again. Extremely friendly staff.

Room was dirty and dusty, toilet was very small and mouldy, definitely much much less than 25 sq m, actual might be around 13 sq m., only breakfast was ok, overall not recommend.

Typical hostel with friendly but distracted staff. Mostly clean but kitchen was filthy. Comfy and quiet except for every door squeaking. Is it really that hard to oil the hinges? Cheap but still overpriced since Göreme is an absolute dump. I'd avoid the whole town.

I’m only rating low because the bathroom situation is bad. They need to be cleaned more than once a day as they were constantly dirty. There are only two toilets which have the showers connected so you are often waiting for the toilet. For the price of this hostel I expected the bathroom situation to be better and cleaner. Other than that it was a nice stay and fun to stay in a cave

Sanki üniversite yurdumda gibiydim hatta, sanırım Türkiyeli tek turist bendim, ki bu benim için hem dışardan yeni insanlar tanımak demek hem de İngilizce'ye maruz kalmak demekti. Bundan dolayı şanslı hissettim kendimi, gelir gelmez ücretsiz bir tura katıldım, saatler sürdü ama çok iyiydi. Temizlik açısından da iyiydi, ortak tuvalet banyo olmasına rağmen bayağı temizdi. Bu benim için yeterli.

Nous avons adoré séjourner dans cet hôtel! Le personnel est plus que génial! Accueillant, adorable et tjs prêt à aider! Le petit dej est vraiment très bon! L’emplacement est idéal! Les chambres sont très bien! L’eau de la douche est chaude! C’est propre et la cerise sur le gâteau c’est le chien Hector, un amour de cocker! Nous reviendrons c’est certain! Merdan, Vulcan, Orhan et Sofia (Ashkim) nous ne vous oublierons jamais! Merci pour ce séjour! Nous nous sommes senti comme à la maison et en famille!

Best hostel I've stayed during 40 days trip in Türkiye. Location: Really close to Otogar. Just 3 mins on foot! There's a lot of restaurants and markets near hostel. Service: Room was super clear. They serve high quality breakfast everyday with no charge. Çay is also free 24/7! Enjoy tea in terrace with your friend! And all managers are friendly. Owner Walter was super nice guy. He helped me booking balloon, Green, ATV tours. It was even cheaper than Viator! Even my captain of balloon wasn't freshman! The chef in here was also awesome. He always cleans rooftop restaurant and serves you nice breakfast. Bathroom: Some reviews complaining about dirty shower booth or some smells. It's completely wrong. All shower booth and toilets are re-modeled and well-cleaned. I couldn't feel any bad things during 4 days. Plus, dogs named Hector and Turbo were super cute. You must see them!😆
