The minpaku is a detached house in a quiet residential area My husband and I live on the second floor and the entrance is shared by the guests and us the owners 3LDK 86 is a private lodging on the first floor Up to 8 people can stay in a Japanesestyle room with two semidouble beds
It is a 7minute walk from the minpaku to the nearest station Toshimaen Station From Toshimaen Station it is 15 minutes from Ikebukuro Station and 20 minutes from Shinjuku Station There is Harry Potter Studio Tour near Toshimaen Station and there are many cheap and delicious restaurants There is also a hot spring in the garden
We have a private garden for our guests a spacious bathroom and a kitchen with tableware

2 week stay in Nerima, Tokyo Japan

Great stay! The property manager/owner was very responsive to our questions. Although the house was further out of the city (Tokyo), the neighborhood was very quiet and walkable and within a 10 minute walk to a main train station. My only suggestion….place a sofa or seating in the room next to the kitchen and move the tv in the same room. Great stay overall!

Great place to stay

This house was excellent. Very roomy, very clean and hosts warm and friendly. We enjoyed our stay in Toshimaen and it was quite close to our family in Hikarigaoka. I would have appreciated an iron that worked efficiently but the house was very well stocked with essentials.

Great place for extended stay

We had a very nice four-week stay. The accommodations are on the first floor of a two-story home - four rooms (including Japanese tatami room with futons in closet, two bedrooms , and a dining kitchen) plus a large bathroom with deep bath and washing machine. The owners are on the second floor but we only met once so very private and not noisy. The host is very friendly and helpful - we mainly communicated by text message in English. It’s ideal for a multi-week stay for a couple or small family if you want to be self-sufficient, do some of your own cooking, and have more room than a hotel (but aren’t expecting comparable luxury). Also ideal if you want to visit Warner Bros Studio/Harry Potter. The neighborhood had a few nice and friendly restaurants, a great coffee roaster, a large movie theater, and even its own natural onsen bath. However, it is otherwise a quiet and out-of-the-way neighborhood, and you need to travel 30-60 minutes to reach areas of central Tokyo, depending on distance and subway connections. There are two train stations right next to each other (Oedo line and Toshima line). The listing address is somewhat difficult to find on Google maps, but the host sent coordinates and check-in instructions so getting there and in was easy. (It’s best to contact the host directly if you don’t get proper info from VRBO. She is trustworthy.)
