ãPerfect location right next to the gondola. Not a 'quaint' or 'beautiful' building but makes up for it in convenience, cleanliness, and service. We've stayed at several places in Telluride, this one twice, and it's our favorite primarily because it's got everything you need within a block or two - gondola, trails, river, store, many many restaurants, hot tub, bike and boat rental, etc. If I could make one suggestion it would be to expand the breakfast options. After two days the...
ãI didnât want to leave The Peaks. It was great from beginning to end. The pools and hot tub were key. The views are unbeatable. And it was set apart enough to be conveniently located to everything without being right in the activity.ã
ãEverything about the place was great, but I did miss having air conditioning.
The area offers a wide variety of food options suitable for all age groups. They even have an oxygen bar available, which can be helpful if you experience any breathing difficulties due to the high altitude. The scenic beauty here is simply unbeatable!ã
ãWe were in town for the Telluride Jazz Festival. Great location, spotless rooms, comfy bed, better than average hotel breakfast. Best part was it was only a 10-15 minute walk from our room to the Town Park stage. Parked the car when got in and it didnât move until we left. Will definitely stay here again.ã
ãWe were able to drop our bags for a morning arrival. Then housekeeping finished our room early, and they contacted us that we could get into our room early. ã
ãClose to shuttle area. Very nice room, a little smaller than what we anticipated, trying to accommodate 4 was quite tight u less they were small children. ã
ãThis property is older than some, but very well maintained. The grounds are beautiful and the fact that it is right by the river is an added bonus. The sitting area outside by the river with the hot tub is peaceful and relaxing.
The hairdryer in my room did not work, and there was no soap in the shower. Also, the TV was very confusing to operate. In spite of these things I loved staying there and would again.ã
ãThe property was in a gorgeous area right next to a short trail that followed the river. It was a very short walk into town, where there were a lot of restaurants and shops. The room was very comfortable and clean.ã
