Worst check out ever

the keys had to be dropped at the same place they were picked up from which is up the road from the accommodation if its raining you will get very wet like I did. we had an early flight so we packed up and took the keys back to the shop at 7am BUT the shop doesn't open until 8:30am there's no where it says the shop doesn't open till 8:30 i called Book a batch and they said the shop opens at 7:30 then began the argument. There's a sign on the front of the shop that looked like it had been there for years that states the shop is open 7 days a week from 8:30am. i was told i had to take the keys all the way back to our room and leave them there so i had to cancel my Uber and run back to the room and got even more wet then order another Uber. ZERO concern about me missing my flight from book a batch. I will never use them again

We did have a few issues, the collection of the key was absolutely ridiculous. The laundry was dirty. The lighting in the bedrooms was inadequate, not bright enough. Complimentary tea and coffee was sparse and no milk (long life would have been fine) The stairs to the bedroom were a danger, the steps blended into each other. The heating couldn't be adjusted and was too hot.

Good location. Property is not very clean and quite run down. Not being able to check your luggage in if you fly in early is a drawback. Not able to leave with hotel staff. This was a big letdown for us

the stay

It was a nightmare to get the keys. The parking was made difficult as you did not leave advice to the park and we had to pay our own cost of parking when it was supposed to be included. Globe out in kitchen, shower head needs replacing as water leaks from side Unit needs painting and the impression from getting out of the lift the area outside the unit looks like a jail. Hated to look over the rail going into the unit when you can see down all floors I would be terrified that a child could go over that railing. I couldn't think that this place was approved by any Council when a child could get a toe hold and fall 13 floors

Perfect location

This is very close to Darling Harbor - easy walk via a footbridge and car park. Good access to restaurants as well as the NYE fireworks. Roomy apartment, well stocked kitchen, large master bath. Check in could have been easier - you go past the first set of elevators to the express elevators and press P for penthouse. Who knew? Where I come from, P stands for Parking which the building does have. We had to ask at the front desk while the receptionist whispered that we needed to press P to get to the penthouses. And of course, you have to go elsewhere to pick up your keys - not too far away. And it’s only one set of keys. Don’t understand this. Building is old and oddly set up. Never seen anything like it. The apartment is nice though. Didn’t use the pool or gym.

Great location!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Pyrmont Penthouse. The view of Darling Harbour was unbelievable!! The beds were very comfortable!! Any issues we had i messaged and got a quick response.
