Generally clean, very basic facilities, overpriced

Generally clean, very basic facilities, not much staff contact/advice. Did not notice an in room brochure describing details of how to use room facilities, local eateries, room services, internet etc. Room cost was higher than one would expect for the facilities available.

Terrible I have sentanemail regarding this and the movie Le dirt and pubic hair all over the bathroom

Not clean and noisy! The shower was disgusting, old tissues on floor but the receptionist was nice fella.

Didn't spend much time there. The staff took away the dirty bathmat and face washer but didn't replace with a clean one. Twice. I had to ask to get clean ones. It's very close to the station, convenient if you're going to an event at Olympic Park.

Rooms not up to standard of cleanliness

Rooms weren't vacuumed,hair in shower,benches filthy,yellow stained pillows,bottle of water under bed,towels with stains and holes in them.

Absolutely terrible place to stay. Dirty, cigarette burns in carpet, smoke detectors covered with plastic bags posing a safety issue. Would not recommend anybody to stay there.

Ordinary...

Staff were never in office when needed. (Back in 5 mins lasted for 2 days) Photos on website very different to real thing. Beds weren't made completely. Just quilt thrown back hastily. (I don't expect you to make my bed. But don't do a half assed job. Clean room fully or not at all.) so I don't actually know what was done as part of daily cleaning, I just know someone had come in.

Awful

The room we were given was awful. Room was dirty as if it had not been cleaned, there was clearly stain where things had been spilt on the floor and no been cleaned up. The sheets were filthy and stained and had cigarette burns all through them. we were there for all of 5 minutes before we left and booked another hotel.

Filthy. Worst Motel I have ever been to!!!

We did not go to the room until late. On pulling back the bedspread, which was dirty, there were long black hairs on the pillow and a lot more in the bed and on the blanket. Disgusting!!! The carpet was absolutely filthy, it looked like it had not been cleaned for years. The bedside lamp was broken and stuck together with a piece of sticky tape, go to kmart and spend $8. We had booked for 2 nights but left after the first night. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!!

Everything was terrible... from the coldness of the room to the lack of warmth in the old blanket they had on the bed ... no back on the remote so batteries kept falling out

Very handy for attending things at Olympic Park,

With train travel to Olympic park included in most tickets this provides a cost effective option for out of town visitors who have travelled to attend events at Olympic Park.

Very unclean

The carpet was very messy. Hairballs were all over the carpet. The entire carpet was just a mess (particularly at every corner of the room, it was very messy....hairs everywhere, even underneath the blanket). Very disappointing as I had 2 little children with me and they were very uncomfortable staying there. The heater doesn't work at all, it took 10 minutes to warm up but it didn't keep the room warm...it produces cold breeze instead). The fridge made everything frozen....we tried to adjust the dial but still froze everything there including the milk!) So, in the morning while you're in the rush trying to get ready, it didn't help to help frozen milk when the kids wanting to have milo cereal...we were unable to make sandwiches for lunch as the cheese, hams, etc were frozen as well.

Cleanliness

Room29 was given to us but appeared to not having been cleaned. There were cigarette butts and ash in the drawers as if had been used as ashtray, they stink. We were immediately given another room which was larger and spotless. Staff very apologetic. Staff polite and very helpful. Experience good. Would go again.

Wasn't impressed

Rooms are in need of refurbishing badly, carpets torn, lamp broken, bathrooms eww, way over priced for the state of the room, it was clean. Lovely front desk person. Close to train station was the only good thing. Would not stay there again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Worst motel ever

Terrible condition of room , horrendous smell , mould in shower , dirty floors and bench tops old sheets I will never stay at this motel again , only positive was it was close to lidcombe station so 5 minutes too Olympic park but I would suggest to people that if you do decide to stay here it is a last resort or better yet sleep in your car worst motel room I have ever stayed in
