This was a lovely grand house divided into studios- it seemed to be a mix of short stay accommodation and people living there. Nice room and quite well appointed, although you’d be hard pressed to cook a proper meal in the kitchen with no pantry and zero bench space. Our main criticism was that there is no air conditioning and after a 42 degree day, the Dyson fan just didn’t cut it. There are double doors to a small courtyard but no fly screens so no ability to leave the doors open at night unless you’re happy with mosquitos sharing the room. The bed had only a doona on it, no other option, so we took the doona out and slept under the cover but were still too hot. There were minor annoyances with entry gates and gates to the rubbish bins being locked at random times and a thunderously loud upstairs neighbour who seemed to leave for work just after 5 am, but those were niggles. Overall a nice place but a bit hot and stuffy in a Sydney summer.
