Really enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms, great location, and a reasonable price made it.
I had a great stay at Bayswater Boutique Lodge. The location is super convenient, close to everything, yet the place still feels calm and comfortable.
The room was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up. You can tell a lot of care goes into keeping the lodge welcoming and functional. The check-in process was smooth, communication was clear, and any questions were handled quickly and professionally.
What really stood out was the atmosphere: relaxed, simple, and efficient. No unnecessary fuss, just a place that works well and lets you enjoy your stay in Sydney without stress.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend Bayswater Boutique Lodge to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located, and well-managed place to stay.

Great location, would stay again just for that. Otherwise place is pretty tired and not enough shared bathrooms for the number of rooms
Loved it! Everything was lovely including the staff! Will be staying again and would recommend! And best pillows I’ve ever come across when travelling!
Can highly recommend right in the heart of Kings Cross and Potts Point – close to all the area has to offer. Stayed in a double balcony room which was perfect and enjoyable. Five out of five stars and a great place to stay while in Sydney.
An affordable hotel in Sydney, which I think is one of the most expensive city in the world, but it is not located far away, metro station is just in a walking distance, about 15 minutes you can travel to every attractions in the city centre.
The hotel is located in a quite area in King Cross, the small balcony is very relax for having breakfast in the morning.
Downside is the property is a bit old and dirty, but it is within the accepted level.
Really enjoyed my stay - its a hidden gem in Potts Point. Great value for money - especially if you have a dog coming.
- Dog friendly in the Terrace rooms - they charge $65 extra a night for pets. (It was so nice to have this Terrace too. )
- the service was responsive and Donia was so helpful.
- close to lots of great cafes and restaurants
- easy to get around by foot, train and Uber’s
- decent sized rooms with little fridge, microwave.
- bathroom was shared but its right outside your room door and I never saw anyone else in the four days.
- portable air con that lets you put an ice block in to pump out cooler air. It did get hot when Sydney soared into the mid-30s.
My only caution for some people is that there are only stairs up to the rooms. And it’s in a busy and vibrant area so there is noise.
We had a wedding in the botanical gardens, came back to the hotel after. Easy checkin, nice interiors. Bed was kind of small and not very comfortable. Shared bathroom was clean and modern. Parking was a little tricky but we managed! For the price, it was overall a pleasant quick stay :)
Condition of room was good.. and convenient location.
