Very outdated, but, if just passing through or staying one night, it will do. Very small bathroom. No coffee with coffee maker. Frig, no microwave. Our traveling companions had a microwave, no frig. Very small towels (and rough!)

The place was closed. Not open for business. And I was never notified. So we had no where to stay....😖 It took three hours for us to find a place to sleep because every place was booked. My husband is disabled. We can not sleep in the car. We ended up paying double $ for a room when we finally found one available.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Went to check in everything went through online except payment. Could not check in when I arrived no one was there. We were lucky we were traveling through the wk and another hotel had a room available. Would of been a nightmare if it was a busy wkend and all hotels in area booked up. Pay the extra money get a good hotel. Even driving by this place was scary.

Caution—hotel closed for renovations!

Made our reservation months ago for two rooms. Left a voicemail to confirm about a week ago. Talked to someone three days ago and left a message to confirm and to see if they have a fridge. We were told there was a ” family emergency” but the message would be relayed. Arrived to find a sign on the door, “Closed for renovations.” We had to scramble to find more rooms during one of the busiest weekends of the summer!

Weren’t allowed to stay

I got to this place and there were no cars. Turns out they weren’t booking for this week and were supposed to have someone call and let me know? I booked this months in advance on Hotels.com. Not sure of the problem is the place itself or the app to be honest, but somewhere there was a serious lack of communication. I have no idea how the service would have been. The lady available was sweet even though she was confused why we showed up at her door. But they didn’t reach out before hand and I drove 5 hours to need to find a last minute spot. We got the last place across the street so it worked out. Thank goodness I didn’t pay in advance.

Nice little place with alot of old touches. Motel was nuilt on 1951 so we enjoyrd some of the rustic touches. We were there for a concert, so only slept there but it was worth the cost.

This is a roadside north woods classic. Knotty pine galore. The room is small and had no frills (like a fridge or microwave), but it was comfortable for one night while on the road and reasonably priced.
