"Always a good experience at the Aspen. The only thing they could upgrade is the front doors, make them automatic so it's easier to get through them. Otherwise, I love staying there!"

"An old building complex in a great location overviewing the inlet and town of Haines. The hotel itself is an old building, used to be army barracks, age can be seen in and outside but the room was clean and quiet. It feels like from different times, which is. We were greeted with a smile and clear instructions. There was a coffee and teamaker in the lobby and there was always enough coffee/tea for every guest. Loved the stay and the views and the northern lights :)"

"a little dated but the place was comfortable and convenient. The pull-out sofa bed was filthy and NOT comfortable. Our third ended up simply sleeping on the sofa our entire stay."
