While the property was very well stocked, if we needed anything the hotel was quick to supply it. The room was spacious with views of the mountain. The fireplaces were an extra cozy touch. "We stayed in the studio room. Good enough space for 2 adults and 2 children. With the couch extended as a bed, though, it gets a little crammed with the table. The bathroom had a lot space. Enough to place our sleds in the corner with plenty of space still. It was a good addition to add hooks by the door for all our winter clothes too. The best part of Marriott’s Timber Lodge Tahoe would have to be the location! Right outside is the Gondola, restaurants, rentals, and shops. Everything walking...

"Most family friendly resort in South Lake Tahoe. From the gondola adjacent location, the pool, hot tubs, day spa, gym, valet, video games for the kids to the nicely appointed rooms, this place has it all. The room was just as advertised with a full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, living room with Murphy bed, two fire places and a king size bed. I highly recommend if you have 1 or 2 kids, place is perfect."
