"This is an old hotel (1930s) in the mountain town of Fairplay Colorado. Quaint, a little rustic, but our stay (1 night) was quite pleasant. Everything worked fine and the breakfast (an additional $15) was delicious - fresh fruit, a choice of freshly cooked egg dishes, meats and pastry. In a throwback to an earlier time, no TVs in the rooms (no hardship for us). Staff are delightful. We will stay there when we pass that way again "

"Just what was needed. Very pet friendly. Two levels of stairs if you have a senior dog. Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful property. We love Fairplay. "

"The cabin was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with lots of appliances to make eating in easy, the beds/linens were comfy and the wrap around porch was perfect for our dog to hang out on. The hosts had a lot of good information for the area in their welcome binder. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!"

"Very nice house!! Enough to accommodate us all!! We were prepared for a charcoal grill and got a propane grill?? It was ok just need to update the listing so others will know they don't need to bring charcoal. Other then that, we all had a blast!! The pool table, basketball game and hot tub was a hit!! "Our group had a wonderful time during our stay. The cabin feels very private and is nestled right in the middle of a beautiful aspen grove. It was a great place to relax in nature over the holiday weekend. We spotted plenty of wildlife: moose, deer, owls, without even needing to leave the house! Would recommend to anyone looking for an escape to nature. "

"This place is very pet friendly with a fenced yard and no carpet. Most of FairPlay’s restaurants are within 5 blocks. Easy walking. Cohen Park for kids is about 4 blocks away. The king bedroom downstairs is private and quiet. Having laundry facilities is a big plus!"
