"This place was exactly as advertised. Beautiful home, beautiful views and very well stocked with everything we could need. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. The area is at altitude so not much air to breathe for us old fogies but the beautiful views from this stately home made it all worth it."

"If you're looking for the perfect Colorado getaway, Chessetts Lodge is truly a hidden gem. Perched atop an 11,000 foot mountain, the views are absolutely breathtaking. Every sunrise and sunset feels like something out of a postcard. The hot tub quickly became our favorite spot for watching the sunset, and the sauna was the perfect way to relax after spending a little too much time soaking. The pool table was a huge hit with both of our families and gave everyone something fun to do after a day of exploring. One of my favorite memories was grilling on the patio while taking in the incredible mountain views. Early mornings with a cup of coffee were so peaceful as we watched hummingbirds dart around and the sweetest little chipmunks play nearby. It truly doesn't get much better than that. The house accommodated our two families perfectly, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out, relax, and enjoy time together. If you stay here, don't leave without attempting the 1,000 piece Breckenridge puzzle. If you finish it, you definitely deserve bragging rights! The location couldn't have been better. The charming little town of Alma is just minutes away, and if you have the chance, stop by the local bakery for one of their fresh cinnamon rolls. They're a 10/10 and absolutely worth it. We packed our trip with adventures, including Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, the Royal Gorge Railroad, whitewater rafting in Cañon City with River Runners, and a visit to the Denver Zoo. We spent quite a bit of time in the car traveling between destinations, but not one of us complained because every mile offered another breathtaking Colorado view. This was our second year staying at Chessetts Lodge, and once again it exceeded every expectation. We've made priceless memories here with family, and it has truly become one of our favorite places to go. We can't wait to return and make even more memories in the years ahead. Thank you for sharing such an incredible place with us. We highly recommend Chessetts Lodge to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain retreat with unforgettable views, wonderful amenities, and everything you need for an amazing Colorado vacation."

"What an incredible place! This was just what we needed to recharge and get away from the huddle and bustle of the city. This cabin has amazing vibes. Awesome location and feels very remote with no other cabins in site. Will definitely return!"

"Was a great place to stay! It was quiet, beautiful and a great place to unwind after a hard day at play!! The host was amazingly responsive and addressed even our small issues/ questions. The road leading up to the home is steep, and bumpy! I say this only because we were concerned the map was going to lead us to nowhere! So rest assured—/ it exists haha!! Be careful with elevation at the home sits on about 11,500. Had a great time!!"
