「I booked this property under the pretense that it was within 35 miles of Aspen, the algorithm that Expedia used doesn’t account for winter closures. I drove 160 miles. Scared to book properties not knowing what the actual driving distance is to actual destination. Do better」

「We have stayed here before. Although the room was clean, the common space needed some attention. As this is the off season in Leadville, I don't think there were many other guests and attention to some of those details may have been less than we expected.」

「This is a quality hotel stay at an excellent price. Very clean rooms (we had 2 at the end of April ‘26). This is a very well maintained property in a quiet area. Our room had a full kitchen with full-sized appliances (fridge, range, microwave, dishwasher) and was fully stocked with cooking equipment, plates, etc. There was also a sofa and dining table for four. Highly recommended and 5-stars all the way! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️」

「Pool shut down. Did not see any notice in listing that there was a resort charge. Lots of nickel and diming with this property. Parking fee was outrageous at nearly $100 for a two night stay. Beware of all the huge add in fees」

「The room was so clean and everything smelled so good. I kept burying my face in the bed linens because it smelled amazing and was so comfortable. Breakfast was okay. 「Unique property. Love that its pet friendly. Stairs to all rooms (no elevator). Breakfast is not included but is available for purchase, but not on Wednesdays where even coffee, a staple at pretty much all hotels, is not available. Manager leaves 7pm and comes back around 9am so, plan accordingly. Loved the upper outside porch but the sunroom (good when its cold outside) is only open when the manager is onsite.
