"The property was as pictured, a built out and renovated light filled 2 bdrm basement unit a mere 10 minute walk from the heart of downtown. It had a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and great WiFi (I had a Zoom meeting so wifi was important). After payment and before receiving the checkin code I was required to sign an unusually through rental agreement. Where the hosts could enter the unit if and as needed with or without notice, we could be evicted from the unit if we had guests (like the older and mellow friends we met in Leadville over for a meal), and the like. I wish the contract was disclosed before I paid a nonrefundable fee for the rental. While the unit was great, the contract was over the top."

"We spent 5 nights here. It was a great location for us - easy walk to town and convenient parking for our car which we used to get to hiking locations. Access to a washer/dryer was also nice. We would definitely come back to Leadville and stay here again!"

"This is tough to rate. We were on the third floor and one major challenge for us was regulating the temperature. Even though the daily temperature highs in late July were only in the 60’s, it got brutally hot when the sun came up in the morning, and unless there was a breeze, it was difficult to keep things cool until the sun was west. It was also hard to find very comfortable seating in the main room, and lighting (for reading a book, for example) wasn’t all that great. Plus the bedroom carpeting seems VERY old and rippled, which is not a great look. But the kitchen and bathroom and overall facility is well stocked, and the historical aspects of the building are quite cool. Last, the trip up the fire escape from the parking lot to the third floor is no joke (especially at 10,000 + feet), so those who are not in reasonably good physical shape should consider a lower floor. Enjoyed the stay, but would honestly stay elsewhere next time."
