There were loud TVs in other rooms that were on all night, and the building smelled of pot in the morning. Our room came with a strong smell of some cheap perfume or air freshener.

It was a hostel and not represented that way on Expedia. I hope no one makes the mistake I made by choosing a cheap room n Anchorage.

I was pleasantly impressed with this hotel. There were a lot of bathrooms available and the cleanliness was definitely quite admirable! The location of the hotel was great too! My only recommendation would be a coffee maker in the room or coffee availability in the lobby.

The rooms are spacious and we had a big size bed. The bathrooms are shared so be aware that they won’t be cleaned after each use. There is a small are on each floor that has a microwave and where to cook your food should u want to. Comfortable for a short stay.

Bathroom outside to share to others! No microwave as advertised. Outside bathroom not in description- this is misleading & dishonest. Room is tiny & so noisy as window is open & all night vehicle noise is terrible- no sleep & we are driving next day! With COVID, why will I share my bathroom to others?

Did not realize we had to share a community bathroom. There were 4 bathrooms on the same floor. This was not stated when I reviewed the travelocity description. It only said shower bathroom. It was stated that they were community.

I liked the design of the building - it alludes to the fish 'sockeye'. Everything was fine. However, do not get a first floor room. We did and wanted to open the window as there is no air conditioning. The window is a casement-type window that an outside intruder could step throuigh like a door. So, get a 2nd or third floor room and you will be OK.
