"my husband and i came to the Hotel Indigo Hakone for a night during our honeymoon. this stay was definitely a highlight of our trip. the room was absolutely gorgeous with our private outdoor bath. the surrounding area was beautiful to look at. we had a very relaxing time and experienced great service from the staff. we also enjoyed the convenience of the free shuttle bus from the odawara station. "The location is excellent—just 2–3 minutes’ walk to the train station and about 15 minutes to several museums. We also had a partial ocean view from our room. A shopping mall is only a few minutes away, with plenty of dining options. My three-year-old daughter even dragged me to the Pepper Lunch restaurant downstairs right after her shower! There’s also a 7-Eleven on the first floor, which is very convenient. Breakfast at the hotel is great. Since most museums open around 10–11 AM, you can enjoy a relaxed breakfast before heading out."

"Location is good. Staff were helpful and provided what we needed. There’s no iron/board in the room but it will be sent to the room upon request. The breakfast is delicious and lots of choices. I reserved a non smoking room. I’m very sensitive with the cigarette smell and I can smell some remnants of the smell of the cigarettes. We were offered to transfer to another room."
