"Cheapest place you can find in Osaka. No complaints about the price. The hotel has a lot of additional amenities to complement that price. For example they have a whole kitchen with refrigerator, stove and everything you need to make yourself any meal you want.
Highly recommended if you don't mind a bit dirty premises and just wanna have a place to sleep at night."

The good: Very close to a train station. Room is clean. High Speed Internet. After I complained about bad smell in my room, a staff did air spray right away.
The bad: Bad smell came back not long after air spray, had to open window to get some fresh air, but outside was noisy as it is close to a big road and a train station.
The horrible: In the evening of my check-in date, his hotel sent me an email saying:
"The front desk is closed at 22:00. If you do not check in by this time, your...

This hotel looks brand new. It’s very easy to access the train station. Once you walk out, it’s about 250 meters away. On hotels.com it says free parking, but this is not the case. You have to call the hotel ahead of time to reserve a parking spot. If you don’t you will need to park in a paid parking lot.

The room was really clean, loved the size of the shower. The guy on the front desk was really helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and return again.

Stayed four nights at Mitsuwaya Hostel, great facilities, nice staff, cool people and the school across the street provided the best soundtrack for early mornings. Will be staying here again!

This property had everything that was needed. It was clean and for the rate, it was excellent. Very close to train station. It would be tight for 3 guests so I would recommend 2 max.

Shinsekai has cheap accommodation options and a range of things to see and do, making it a great choice for a budget-friendly getaway. You can find ways to save money while getting to know this destination, which is home to attractions like Tsutenkaku Tower, Tsutenkaku Hondori Shopping Street, and Spa World.
What's the best accommodation for a budget-friendly stay in Shinsekai?
Shinsekai is known for its relaxing spas and offers things to see and do without spending a fortune. You can budget for the popular local attractions that are highest on your list, such as Dotonbori and Universal Studios Japan, and choose other low-cost activities to fill your itinerary. If you're looking to enjoy the area's natural beauty, you can get outdoors at Tennoji Park, Tombori River Walk, or Utsubo Park.
How can I get to Shinsekai and get around on a budget?
Scoping out the transportation options in Shinsekai can help keep you on budget. The closest airport is 10.3 mi (16.5 km) away from the center in Itami Airport (ITM). However, if that doesn't suit your budget, you can book a flight to Kobe Airport (UKB), located 15.6 mi (25.1 km) away. Shinsekai might not have many public transit options to choose from so renting a car could be a reasonable alternative to see more of the area.
