"My stay with my daughter ( 2 adults ) at Ocean El Faro was a great experience overall. This was the second time .The food was always enjoyable, and we especially loved the entertainment it was definitely one of the most attractive parts of the resort and made our stay fun and memorable. The staff were also very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Their kindness and positive attitude really added to the experience. Overall, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our vacation at Ocean El Faro!"

"Best Vacation Ever!! We must have said this 20 times during our stay. It was our 38th Anniversary and we stayed in an Exclusive Club Suite with a Private Pool. Upon our arrival around 2:30 pm we were greeted with a glass of champagne and walked to check in. Check in was easy and because we were celebrating our anniversary (yes, we brought a copy of our marriage certificate- which is a must) we were offered a champagne breakfast in our room, a couples massage and a romantic dinner on the beach. Which all 3 were absolutely amazing!!! The staff went above and beyond and were always smiling and helpful in every way. We always started our day with my husband bringing coffee, fruit and danish from the coffee shop back to our room, then tennis fast feed at 9am followed by a swim in our pool. Our afternoons were relaxing by our pool having pina coladas, reading and heading out to lunch when we got hungry. Late afternoon, we swam & sipped champagne while we dressed for dinner. No reservations needed for dinner was a big plus and we never had an issue getting into any restaurant. We often stay at adult only resorts..especially the ones that cater to Couples in Jamaica. I can say without hesitation, Excelllence Carmen Punta Cana was by far our favorite. We absolutely loved everything and everyday that we were there!! They actually anticipated our needs before we even had to ask which was amazing. Honestly.. BEST VACATION EVER!!! and we can’t wait to come back!!"

"The staff was very helpful and friendly, although some of the main check in staff were a bit cold. Could have been having a bad day. All the wait staff, bartenders, and room service staff were so friendly and helpful. There was one small hot tub on our side of the property which closed at 6pm. Not idle if you have spent the day doing other activities. This the first all inclusive I’ve stay at that doesn’t provide alcohol in the room. You have to go to the bar if you want a drink before going out or a night cap. We went there to see my daughter for her birthday. She is currently doing a mission for the peace corps. It was a hassle getting her added to the room. Partly my fault for waiting til arrival but it stopped any check in, even for myself and my son. We were scheduled to have a double bed room with a sofa and garden view. $850 later they gave us the same room facing an empty lot with people partying in the building across from us. For that reason alone, we won’t stay here again. The resort had many open rooms with garden and ocean views available but there was no offer for an upgrade. The rooms are very basic. you have to register as a preferred guest to get access to their pool, hot tub, and certain restaurants and and top shelf alcohol. I never saw a casino. The night life is very basic, not going to find a good dance party here. The best place for a bar vibe is a small bar with 2 pool tables, which you wait 1-2 hours to use. The food was not impressive."

"The resort was very well maintained and clean. The outdoor areas were beautiful. The app is a must have for planning out where to dine, as not all of the restaurants are open every day. I will say that the service during mealtime could be hit or miss due to the staff. Try to find a server you like and follow them to wherever they will be working in order to get consistent service. The pool area was endless entertainment for my little kids, and we spent most of our days there. The indoor play area was also spacious and clean. The beach during late summer is overrun with seaweed, although the staff try their best to clear it off every morning. Overall I would definitely stay here again!"

"Overall, we had a good family stay at Grand Sirenis. The property was very clean, the pools were well maintained, and there were plenty of engaging activities for kids and families throughout the day. The buffet food was just okay, nothing exceptional, and service was definitely hit-or-miss. During rush times, servers were frequently overwhelmed and requests were ignored, which felt compounded by occasional language barriers. However, during quieter hours the service improved dramatically. A special shoutout to karla and Maria at the buffet, who provided warm, attentive, and genuinely excellent service. One major drawback during our stay was the dining room climate control. Both the Teppanyaki restaurant (ikebana) and the Brazilian steakhouse (La Gira) lost air conditioning, which made dining in the tropical heat uncomfortable. On the management side, Fernando, the Guest Services Manager, was absolutely fantastic. He was proactive, responsive, and worked hard to address concerns and ensure our family was taken care of. A solid family resort with great grounds and standout staff, but service consistency and restaurant maintenance during peak hours could use refinement."
