"The staff were all very responsive. Breakfast spread was good. But suggest not to eat the brocoli,cauliflower dish. Fould black patches on some of the veggies One thing to tske note: hotel does not have proper drop off point. So didi drivers tend to drop off at the bus stop a few steps away. It can be a problem when it rains cos can get really drenched."
Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel on the Bund by Nanjing Road

"The hotel is well located, few steps from Yu Garden and metro station. Rooms are large, modern and clean. Ask for the room minimum floor 12 or above. There was someone on the first floor renting a space and played loud music till 3-4 am. We asked to move us up, and there were no further issues."

"This was our second time staying at a Shangri-La, and it certainly did not disappoint! We previously stayed at the Shangri-La in Singapore three years ago, and this time we stayed at the Shanghai property. The hotel is beautiful, clean, spacious, and incredibly well located. It is close to the Oriental Pearl Tower and on the quieter side of the Bund, making it a lovely location for exploring the area and enjoying the boat trips along the Bund. After a busy day out, it was always a pleasure to return to the hotel. Our room was lovely and spacious, and the overall atmosphere was very comfortable. The staff were generally friendly, although we felt the service in the Singapore branch was slightly better. That said, the breakfast staff were exceptional. We had specific dietary requirements, and the breakfast team went above and beyond to help us. They personally walked us around to explain the different options, brought in the chef to speak with us, and gave us advice on what would be suitable. They were genuinely so kind and accommodating, which we really appreciated. The hotel was also very kind in allowing us to keep our dietary food in their fridge, as the fridge in our room was more of a cool box than a proper fridge. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The incredible location, beautiful spacious rooms, and the kindness of the breakfast team made it a pleasure to stay here. We would definitely consider returning to Shangri-La again!"

"The Westin Bund Center in Shanghai is a wonderful hotel. The location was very convenient to both Yu Garden and Nanjing Road. Staff was very helpful and was eager to help us. Breakfast was good and staff was attentive to our needs."

"Definitely a 5/5 hotel! The staff were very helpful in assisting with any questions we had, in helping us get our Didis, and everything we needed. The hotel is extremely clean and well kept as well, in a great location. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"Hotel is fine, room had a wonderful view, location was very convenient as well. The hotel rooms are old. Which might look like the marble in the bathroom is kind of moldy, worn off. Rooms are small too, not a convenient layout. Other than that the stay was great. Staff is exceptional."
