「Started with our room not being ready at 13. Np we waited 20 min. Pool was great (24 degrees), very well kept area around it. However, after experiencing the chaos and beauty of the nearby town, we had bought ingredients to cook on our trangia stove on the balcony on our own steel table. 「Just come back from a lovely stay, beautiful views and very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was very spacious, comfy and clean. The sauna was great with a fantastic view, the hot tub unfortunately was too cold for us but they did explain they had some faults. The staff were really good at responding to any questions. 「Beautiful views. Quite a distance from the town. Hotel was clean. The hotel is from the 50s but built in the 80s and it does not seem to have had any updates since then. Breakfast was terrible with the only warm food being scrambled egg. The rooms had two bathrooms for some reason. The shower was like a jet wash so if you like that type of pressure then you are in luck. The swimming pool appeared to be abandoned/not open. Malcesine is stunning.」

「We cannot say enough about this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating from the minute. We walked in till the minute we left. The room was incredible. The grounds were breathtaking. Dinner was exceptional every night. This was our favorite part of our trip so far if you are going to be traveling to Lake Gorda make this year destination. The small town is a great place to explore and go to the other busier parts of Lake guard of. We love love love this hotel. 」

「Location was amazing, 10 minute walk to center, the view from your private back terrace was AMAZING. Room was clean and practical. The only complaint I had was the AC, we went mid April and the staff feels that because outside it’s 65 degrees, you don’t need AC. So they basically control it so you can’t even turn on fan. When I asked they said “ cool outside, you don’t need it”. They should write that, we have AC but we decide when you need it. Other than that, I like they had a secure parking...
