"We stayed in the lovely two bedroom apartment belonging to the hotel with our two daughters. Clean, well appointed and perfect location (just across the road from the hotel).
Staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. I can’t praise them enough.
Limited parking out front but again staff went out of there way and managed to squeeze my car in.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choice.
Would definitely make a return visit."
"For a 3 star hotel, this is top tier. Everything you need, closest to the lake you'll get and the bed has so far been the best during my Italy trip. It is a bit dated, but that's expected and acceptable. The price is moreso the luxury of proximity than facilities. The breakfast was as good as a 5 star hotel. Would go here again if in Malcesine."
"A beautiful spacious apartment immaculately prepared for our visit. Easily accessible by the lift to the second floor. The small balcony gave brilliant views out over the harbour and lake. The beds and bed linen were really comfortable and the shutters ensured a great sleep.The kitchen was well equipped with all one would need to prepare a full meal, though we ate out when we stayed!Malcesine is a beautiful town with so much to see and do. You could happily stay here for the week or like us use the buses and boats to see more of the wider area.The host Stefano from the hotel san marco next door ensured any snags we did experience were quickly resolved. We loved our stay and hope to return. Would highly recommend."
"The apartment was fantastic. Great location in the heart of the town, amazing views of the lake… but the management company was disappointing. They did the bare minimum, and were not especially concerned about providing good customer service.
The wifi did not work during our stay, and their office is closed on the weekends. So we had no support for days, until they got around to responding. Then once we did hear back they were quick to point out that there is a clause in the agreement saying they are not liable for internet, so they did little to help fix the issue.
We had a wonderful time in Malcesine, but I would be reluctant to stay here again because of the bad experience with the management company."
