Casa Acueducto

"I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Acueducto for 10 nights just recently (Sept/Oct 2026). This small hotel is impeccably clean, quiet, and well-located for exploring the city. The views from the covered rooftop are fantastic, especially of the imposing hills to the west. The Xochimilco neighborhood where it is located is very scenic and charming, close enough to easily walk to the central district while remaining a quiet sanctuary that I was happy to return to each afternoon. The cobblestone road it is on follows the old aqueduct into town, and has many fantastic street murals decorating the buildings and walls. Within a very short distance of the hotel (without crossing any major streets) there is everything you need - several great restaurants, an artisan bakery, a drop-off laundry facility, convenience stores, an artisan chocolate maker, etc. Finally, Emilio and the rest of the hotel staff were very kind and helpful and made me feel instantly at home during my stay. After my recent stay, I can recommend Casa Acueducto without hesitation."

"The ambiance is great. The food at the restaurant is fabulous. Everything we ate was great. They regularly showcase Oaxacan artists. Every two months, apparently. The place is very clean. They also have a free shuttle that takes you downtown, as the hotel is located about 15-20 minutes from the center. The staff is very responsive to your needs. They are dialed in. The only downside was the quality of the WIFI. This may have more to do with the surrounding area and not the hotel. There were work crews in the neighborhood attending to the matter."

"Clean rooms, helpful staff, front desk spoke English, and restaurant staff were more than happy to find someone who did if we were having issues communicating. Food was good, pool was clean, very quiet hotel, which is exactly what we were looking for. The pool became more lively in the evenings with kids, but they were respectful and it was always quiet by night time."
