Comfy Studio Close To Subway STR4734

This is a very nicely done studio with its own separate entrance, kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. We have Apple TV, Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Video. Very quiet and very safe. We live above but we are very quiet.

You can access the unit with the lockbox code. You don't need to interact with us unless you would like to. You'll have access to the unit as well as the on-site laundry.

Forest Hill is a lovely neighborhood of homes built in the 1925's. It is in the middle of SF and just West of Twin Peaks. It is mainly owner-occupied, an upper-middle-class area that is safe and secure with lots of street parking. As in its name, lots of trees!

The MUNI subway stop is 3 blocks away and will take you to the center of town in 15 minutes. Very easy.

Excellent for a little get away

My husband and I spent the weekend in SF and stayed in this cute little studio space. Access to public transport was so convenient and there are several good places to eat within walking distance. The owners were friendly and responsive. The space was clean and met all of our needs. Definitely recommend!

Great Host!

Perfect place to explore San Francisco

We were able to explore San Francisco, visit the Napa Valley, discover Alcatraz and spend some time at the Beach, all from this cozy little condo. We loved the place as well as the neighborhood. Easy to park in the streets.

Michael’s studio was a great base for exploring the city, close to public transport links and in a quiet residential area. He kindly allowed us to leave luggage the day we were leaving until later that afternoon which was incredibly helpful

Short stay in San Francisco

The property was as advertised and although compact, it did have everything we needed. Check in was easy. The property is in the middle of a suburban area so not close to any attractions, but the area is lovely and you can get anywhere you want easily by public transport. If you don’t mind walking (we were quite happy) there is a good Safeway store about 20 minutes walk away, or an upmarket and expensive one close by. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Short get away

Studio perfect for the trip. Very clean and completely as described. It is a quite neighbor but close enough to public transportation or short Uber rides to everything around.

It is a small apartment in the basement with a very small bathroom. I think the pictures in the ad do not quite correspond to the truth. Otherwise the location is great, it is quiet and safe.

Cozy Studio with great transit to the city

The studio had everything you need to be happy, a nice big bed and fridge a comfy couch and even entertainment. The next metro station is a 5 minute walk away and takes you to all the major stops in the city in the manner of 10-15 minutes. There are also ample spots to eat close to the studio (burger, french, dumplings) and also a really nice supermarket (mollie stones).

Ok, Friendly host but smelled

The host was very friendly and responsive. The location was perfect and the check in process was smooth. Some negatives I have are the apartment smelt wierd. Im not sure what the smell was but there was something nasty smelling. The carpet was quite dirty and could do with a deep clean. The furniture was quite old, the bed and sofa creaked and the bed sank in the middle. Also, the bed is advertised as a king size bed but was only double size. The apartment is in the basement of a house so it lacked daylight. Lastly, the people that lived in the upstairs apartment were noisy. Overall, the stay was ok, I would recommend this place to stay because of the location and friendliness of the host. The apartment could do with a deep clean to remove the pungent smell and the furniture could be upgraded.

I was recovering from surgery during my stay, so we spent most our time in the house. It was cozy! The thermostat system was nice, and the bed was EXTREMELY comfy. The TV has good access to streaming services. I liked the removable shower head. The hosts were also nice and accommodating, the dryer was broken during our stay and they brought us a rack to dry our clothes in. Also provided us extra toilet paper and towels without us asking. It was also pretty peaceful for the most part, but if you try to sleep in (past 8 AM or so) some days we were woken up by loud children, as the rest of the house is lived in (which, sharing a house is more ethical for the community). If you're out for most of the day during your stay though, the noise shouldn't be an issue.

Good base for exploring San Francisco

It was a good base, able to cook so not eating out for the whole week. Bed really comfortable, which is super important. Host responded quickly when we had an issue and sorted promptly. In easy reach of the city. Would use again.

This was a very nice little spot for the price. While it was a studio, it was more spacious than I anticipated and very comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve had from a Bnb. Overall it was a great experience!

Great location and felt safe to leave my car in the street. The bed was comfortable and space was adequate as we were only there 1 night. As another person stated, the owners have a small child, who must love throwing a ball when they wake up. There is no sleeping in lol. Thankfully, we wanted to get up early anyways but if you are not an early morning person, this might not be the place to stay for you.
