"Room was nice, staff was very helpful and had no issue's having conversations in English. They are very foreigner friendly. We enjoyed the location, the breakfast was wonderful, but can get busy in the mid morning times. Thr location is great but it is close to bars, restaurant and a nightlife area. It is also close to what is considered a redlight area. So not that family friendly from what I saw. We found activities to do during the day and enjoyed how close we were to so many things. I will say, having multiple Apa hotels close to each other with similar names was an issue because we went to the wrong hotel a couple times. Would definitely visit again and recommend to friends wanting a unique experience of Tokyo."

"I arrived a day late after significant flight delays and the staff were very accommodating despite my late arrival. The room and bathroom are compact, but it was just enough space for me as I’m a solo traveler. Everything was clean and well maintained. Being nearby stations was very convenient. I ended up using Shin-Okubo station often- it’s still crowded, but smaller and much easier to navigate than bigger stations. Breakfast was awesome! The reviews didn’t lie, the buffet is a great way to start your morning, especially convenient for someone like me who has a bad habit of skipping breakfast when in a hurry. It obviously should be noted that this hotel is in a rough area, Kabukicho, the red light district of Tokyo- BUT, if you have experience staying in other major cities, especially U.S. cities like New York and D.C. that pose more dangers, it really isn’t that big of a deal. Just be aware of your surroundings like you would any major city and this hotel is a good affordable place to stay. "

Staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in effortless. The location is perfect for exploring Shinjuku and nearby shopping centre. Great value for the price—I’ll happily stay here again on my next trip."
