"Les plus: beau chalet rustique, accommode facilement 6 personnes ( futon au salon), cuisine bien équipée, environnement naturel sans voisin, tranquille, communication facile avec la propriétaire.Les moins: deux appareils sur lesquels je comptais ne fonctionnaient pas ( cafetière et lecteur VHS), pas de savon ni shampoing dans la salle de bain, les sentiers en forêt ne sont pas entretenus donc aucune marche en forêt n’a été possible, pas assez de bois pour le foyer pour la durée de mon séjour, j’ai dû en chercher autour du chalet. Bref il manque l’attention aux détails à laquelle on s’attend lors d’une location de villégiature à ce prix. "

"We, a group of eight seniors, enjoyed five wonderful nights in this house in late September as the leaves were turning beautiful colors. Nadine was an excellent communicator, very prompt with tips and advice.The house is in very good condition. Air conditioners are in each bedroom and in all the common areas. The amenities are over the top with pool, hot tub, fire pit, pool table and ping pong table.Kitchen is well equipped with tons of dishes, glassware, silverware, and various pots and pans. There is a Keurig and two coffee makers plus various teas.There is one long dining room table seats probably 24 people or so. You can also fit eight around the large kitchen island and enjoy meals there, too.Our group debated about whether to stay on the island or in Quebec City and we were all unanimous in preferring the island location. We were able to comfortably spread out in the house and grounds and enjoy the modest island sights on one day.The largest grocery store on the island, which has many of the basics, but is not to be confused with a supermarket, is a 2 minute drive from the house. A large IGA and Costco are on the mainland 20-30 minutes away.We did a day trip to Quebec City, just 20 minutes away despite lots of construction, which was enough for most of us. On another day, we visited the beautiful Jacques Cartier National Park about an hour away where we did some hiking.All of us would recommend this property to those needing lots of beds and amenities."
