Weekend get away!!

What a wonderful unique property! We were impressed from the minute we walked in. From the decor to the welcoming home away from home atmosphere it was perfect for our stay. The hot tub was warm and ready upon arrival the kitchen worked perfect for our meals we whipped up. I loved the set up and have already been telling friends and family about it! Will definitely visit again l.

Comfortable, clean, and great location.

This was our 3rd stay. The home is very clean, warm and welcoming. We love the design of the house. It has both a very spacious open area that's large enough to comfortably accommodate all of us, as well there are other more intimate areas if to get away and relax alone or with a friend. It's always a pleasure to visit.

just a quick get-away

Not your run-of-the-mill, vanilla vacation property. Totally unique with beautiful views of the wooded area. The interior is cozy, comfortable and captivating with so many options for a scenic spot for a good read. Aptly named, Peace

could not access the TV. Multiple remotes were confusing. Unable to get into any of the platforms to watch. Need to have directions that are more clear as to how to access different programs, or list those not available. Towels need to be upgraded. Hot tub was wonderful. Seems like the setting is great for a larger group but the house would not accommodate more than 6..Love the area, absolutely beautiful. All in all it was a very nice trip.

Slice of Heaven

The amount of time and care spent creating this unique and beautiful space must have been years in the making. We especially enjoyed waking up to the sunrise view through the trees. If you’re looking for a special venue to rest and relax, Peace Inn has what you need.

Not what you are expecting

Doors not locking, almost all windows without curtains, which makes it creepy and scary at night, because of animals around, what actually happened to us, that deer was staring into window at night. House making so many creaking noises at night, kids may get scared. Worst wifi I ever saw, couldn’t even watch a movie or listen to the music. I payed for a house with a hot tub, but owner didn’t allowed to use it, “because of a season”. Why don’t you tell us this before we can cancel it. How do i know that I can’t use a hot tub, you telling me that when i’m already there. So many little stupid things, that you can fix… trees near the house are literally falling, you don’t feel safe in place like this. Air vents are broken you got warm air blowing in your room, and air so dry at night that you can’t even breathe, have to open windows, which is scary during to noises and animals around. And only one thing that I liked is atmosphere overall.

Relaxing getaway location!

I enjoyed my stay here next to the campground! Very quiet, neighbors are rarely heard and barely visible. House is clean, could use some TLC but owner is working on it. :) Lots of DIY home maintenance that'll make you think about what you could do (or maybe not do?!) Plenty of kitchen supplies, several pots/pans, nonstick skillets that still have the nonstick, knife block with all the knives, colander, cutting boards, hot pads, dish towels, etc. Electric stove. No dishwasher; soap, sponge and dish drainer provided. There are several places one can sit and relax or gaze out the big picture windows. In better weather, there are also several places outside to enjoy. For those with mobility concerns, be aware there are many steps within the house between seating areas and rooms, and some soft spots throughout. Hot tub is in a room detached from the house, it's a very short walk, maybe 10ft, over mossy patio pavers. Furnace is pretty loud when in the main bedroom and very effective. Temperature is comfortable throughout even with the unique floorplan. I found the pillows and mattress very comfortable. Plenty of blankets available. Bathroom is clean. TP and towels provided, bring soap to wash your hands, hair and body. The shower stall is generously size with hot water, good pressure and a bench! Internet service worked fine for me to do some work, including video. I would consider staying here again if I needed a little me time! I had a lovely time.

Unique home!

The kids were thrilled with the house—with the archways and torches it was very exotic. We went fishing in the reservoir with a guide. The boat ramp was 5 minutes away. The host was very accommodating and was appreciative of my alert of small problem in the kitchen. Very clean and comfortable.

We had trouble checking in as we couldn’t get the lockbox to open. Since there is no cell service that holds a call for about ten miles or more we drove until we could get a good connection with the owner who lives a long way from the rental. He then remembered that he had hidden a key on the property. We were then able to get in. While at the rental we lost power the first night for no known reason. There is no generator. We also couldn’t get the TV to work. It did work the day after the power failure. The third evening there was a thunderstorm which caused the internet to go out. Thus no phones or TV. The properties kitchen I’m very poor condition. The counters are scratched up everywhere and very sticky as are the floors. The cabinets are in need of updating as well. The property has great decor and a good location. Bill Gannon

Hummingbird Delight

Nicely refinished inside, like hummingbirds, this is your place, they go to every feeder, open, near many things. Visited several spots including wineries and breweries, and was there for the Strawberry Fest.

Wonderful getaway

The house was just like the pictures and so cool!! It was only about 30 min away from the trails we hiked and such an east drive. Bill was quick to respond to any questions we had and was very kind and helpful. We had such a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Relaxing and Peaceful Getaway

The property owner was very attentive during the reservation process, providing updates on the property's readiness for arrival, and fair with checkout procedures. Great property in the woods

We rented the house for a girls weekend getaway in the woods. Definitely served it’s purpose, we had a great time. We hiked, rented a pontoon and just hung out by the fire. Would recommend to a friend.

Peaceful stay

Bill was great to work with. We had a very peaceful stay and enjoyed the beauty of the area. One thing to note is that there is no cell service at the house and the WiFi can be a bit spotty. We still had a nice trip away from it all!
