「アットホームで親切でよかったです」

「A beautiful place to spend a night or two if exploring the area. Comfortable individual rooms. The one I stayed in looks like it was once a stable block. Well furnished and very clean. Staff very friendly. Good parking. Close to picturesque village centre with many shops selling local produce. Highly recommended.」

「Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. 「Good food and helpful staff」

「I have just stayed at The Fighting Cocks for the weekend. Unfortunately we choose the weekend of the A31 closure and the New Forest fires! Resulting in a lot of traffic passing the pub. Not their fault. The staff were very helpful and friendly the room was great, clean and comfortable and breakfast was included and really tasty. We had an evening meal on the Saturday which was ample and reasonably priced. All in all a great little stop over.」

If a client is using derogatory foul audible language aimed at women in the bar area they should be asked to stop by the manager/bar tender - it’s not pleasant to be subjected to this if you’re sitting quietly trying to enjoy your own drink . 「3人での宿泊でしたので、もとパン焼き工房だった建物を改装したメゾネットタイプの部屋でした。ジェーン・オースティンゆかりの説明や絵が多く飾ってある大変素敵な部屋でした。部屋以上にパブとレストランにも昔の絵や写真の他に天井にはカップなどが吊り下げられており、とても雰囲気のある宿でした。是非また泊まりたいです。ちなみにすべての部屋はパブの２階ではなく、通りをはさんだ向かい側の建物にあります。」

「16世紀から宿屋をやっているとの情報が出ていたが，本当に古いホテル。1階はパブとレストランで，地元の人でにぎわっている。お料理は大変おいしい。ステーキお勧め。Fish and Chipsも衣厚めな好きなタイプだった。古いので，階段が傾いていたり，部屋の床が傾いていてクローゼットが斜めになっていたりするのが愛嬌。大聖堂すぐそば。ホテルの駐車場は無いので，ホテルから徒歩5分くらいのBrown Street Car Parkに停める。ホテルで24Hのバウチャーを8GBPだったかで提供してくれるので，それをダッシュボードに置いとけばよい。」

「Probably one of the worst 3 star hotel bedrooms (room 12) we have ever stayed in. The bathroom was terrible, ceiling paint was peeling off, shower seal was broken causing the floor to flood, toilet roll holder was hanging off, soap dispenser was broken, door handle did not work and signs of damp or roof leak staining on the ceiling.
