Lovely place. The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming, food was nice,breakfast was excellent. Chef and brewer really need to spend some money on decor as it looked dated and there was gaffer tape holding the carpet together in the dinning room.New carpets and a fresh lick of paint would make so much difference to this lovely old building.

My family arrived here from Canada, after a long flight and drive from the airport. We arrived early before the allocated check in time but they were very accommodating in getting our room ready as soon as possible. The property is wonderful and the staff are very friendly. A quick walk to the town provided a lot of options for dining in addition to the hotel being part restaurant.

Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed in a family room which was very clean and a big room. Breakfast was fab! A great choice and very reasonably priced.The only downside was the beds as the matress was very hard.

Nothing was too much for Bunny and Murial.Excellent Customer service.Rest of the staff were lovely. Had a lovely room looking out onto the fields with beautiful views of the forest and horse's. Food was very nice. Couple of minutes walk to shopping area. Will be booking to stay again.

The hotel was lovely and welcoming as were the staff, parking was plentiful. Our room was comfortable if a little old fashioned and was excellent value for what we paid. We had breakfast on one morning and the full English was a delight. It is situated in the middle of the New Forest and the village of Lyndhurst (10 minutes walk away) is lovely and well worth a visit. We will definitely be making a return visit next year.
