Great place with high sta...

Great place with high standarts of comfort and unique hospitality of the owners Sara and Mimmo. Our children were happy to swim in the pool and to play piano in the living room. Mimmo gave us some lessons of sicilian cooking. Our best holidays!

"We had a very pleasant stay with Sara and Mimmo, who were wonderful hosts and more than accomodating. Being greeted with a late lunch of pasta, second course and desert (and wine, of course) on our arrival started the stay off nicely. The location is very central, with Etna, Taormina and Siracusa all nearby. Our children (ages 2, 5 and 7) had a fine time with Sheila (the dog) and Sara and Mimmo were kind enough to mind them while my wife and I enjoyed a dinner out. We had only 4 short days there, but even with no ability to speak Italian, my wife and I had very interesting conversations with Sara and Mimmo nonetheless (we speak English and limited Spanish and French). As mentioned previously, the owners live on the ground floor - some may see this as limiting privacy a little bit, however there is plenty of private space and it allows for interaction with two wonderful Sicilians!"

Lovely villa in good location. Wonderful hosts.

We had a really lovely time at this villa. The owners, Sara and Mimmo, were incredibly kind and helpful. We were greeted with a delicious meal, which after a delayed flight and trouble with hiring our car was gratefully received! The villa itself is in a residential area so feels very authentic and not at all touristy which for us was great. The villa has everything you need. The beaches near the villa were lovely with beautiful clear blue seas. You do need a car but it is in a good location to visit other areas. We visited Taormina, Mount Etna, Santa Venerina, Acireale , as well as Acicastello and Torre Archirafi. There is still plenty to see and we hope to visit again soon.

Sehr schöne und saubere Anlage mit nicht ganz optimaler Lage

Die Anlage ist innen sowie außen sehr schön und absolut sauber. Alles sehr geräumig und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Auch der Pool ist echt riesig und für eine Abkühlung und zum Schwimmen hervorragend. Der Empfang war sehr nett und wir bekamen sogar spät abends ein hervorragendes Abendessen mit Gemüse aus eigenem Anbau. Das war genau das Richtige nach einer langen Reise. Das einzige was uns nicht so gefallen hat war die Lage des Hauses, da man ohne eigenes Auto nichts erreichen konnte. Das ist bei dem sizilianischen Verkehr sehr anstrengend und nichts für schwache Nerven. Dies ist deshalb der einzige Grund warum die Gesamtbewertung einen Stern weniger von uns bekommt. Das ist aber nur unsere Meinung und wenn man damit kein Problem hat, hat man dort auf jeden Fall seine Ruhe und die Anlage hätte fünf Sterne verdient. Ansonsten war alles super und die Anlage ist absolut empfehlenswert um einen schönen Urlaub zu machen! Wir (4 Leute) hatten für 7 Tage auf jeden Fall einen schönen und unvergesslichen Urlaub! Sehr hübsches Haus mit Pool

Wir hatten 10 wunderbare Tage in Riposto. Das Haus ist groß - 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badzimmer - hat eine voll ausgestattete Küche, TV, Internet, genügend Handtücher, Bettwäsche und alles, was man braucht. Mimmo und Sara haben uns am Abend der Ankunft mit einem leckeren Essen verwöhnt, die 'Grundausstattung' für's erste Frühstück war ebenfalls schon da. Außerdem gab es selbstgekochte Marmelade und frische Orangen aus dem eigenen Garten. Die Umgebung ist nicht so toll, man braucht ein Auto zum Einkaufen und Essen gehen. Einkaufen ist in Riposto gut möglich - es gibt einen tollen Fisch- und Gemüsemarkt.

Fantastic villa , well equipped and very hospitable hosts!

We had a wonderful stay at this villa on the east coast of Sicily. The owners could not have been more welcoming, staying up late (we were delayed by lengthy hire car check in process) to greet us and provide us with a typical Sicilian meal and a guided tour of the villa. The villa was really well equipped: we could have entertained a large party of guests, lots of towels and I cannot think of anything that I missed from my kitchen at home.The swimming pool is a very good size for a villa of this price. It was cleaned regularly. The garden is planted with wonderful trees and shrubs including a Jasmine which filled the evening air with a delightful scent as we dined "al fresco." The owners had lots of good suggestions for places to visit. The Villa is located a little way in from the coast but this is easily accessed by car in a short time. We did lots of snorkelling, climbed Mount Etna and day tripped to Taormina, ,Syracuse and saw some amazing mosaics at a roman Villa near Enna. Ragusa and Noto ( possibly the best ice cream in the world) to the south east are also worth a visit. Days spent reading by the pool and generally relaxing were also great! If you enjoy music and the Arts there are concerts held in the ancient Greek theatre at Taormina and an international music festival at Ragusa. At Noto there was a Picasso and Frida Kahlo event. Great villa in a good location. The owners speak really good French as well as German and Spanish. We are very happy to recommend this villa and will definitely return if we can. Thank you

A prime location for comfort and exploration

If you want to be pampered, Italianised and spoiled for choice, go to Mimmo and Sarah's!❤️ On top of falling in love with Sicily, you will become addicted to Mimmo and Sarah's house. The biggest danger of staying there is that you never want to leave the house and may miss out on all the wonders around you.

Super Séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Sarah et Mimo, ce sont des personnes merveilleuses, très agréables, très disponibles et de très bons conseils pour visiter cette région de la Sicile et en plus très discrètes. la logement est parfait, très propre, décoré avec goût, beaucoup d'espace, tout est à disposition des locataires, un excellent repas préparé par la gentille Sarah, nous attendait à notre arrivée. il est vraiment rare de trouver une location comme celle là, c'etait vraiment génial. un conseil, allez y en toute confiance !!!!

Zeer goed!

Deze woning zouden we iedereen aanbevelen! We hebben een week in dit heerlijke huis mogen logeren. We zijn met 2 volwassenen en 4 kinderen. De woning is zeer compleet, een grote keuken met oven en veel kookstellen. Mooie slaapkamers met goede bedden. Mooie ligging met aan de ene kant de zee en aan de andere kant de Etna. Veel te zien in de omgeving, Taormina, de Etna, maar ook leuke kleine plaatsjes. Mimmo en Sara, de eigenaren, zijn schatten van mensen, ze zijn dol op kinderen en zorgen ervoor dat je je erg welkom voelt. We kregen taart en Sara heeft de 1e dag voor ons een heerlijke maaltijd gekookt. De woning was heel schoon. Restaurant la Spiga is goed, lekker eten, niet duur. We hebben genoten in dit huis!

Rundum gelungener Urlaub!

Wir haben in dem schönen Haus einen zweiwöchigen, wunderbaren und erholsamen Urlaub verbracht. Der Pool ist riesig, und die Aussenanlage sehr gepflegt. Das Haus ist sehr sauber. Die Küchenausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen! Riposto ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für viele schöne Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Mimmo und Sara kümmern sich rührend um ihre Gäste, haben uns am ersten Abend mit einem selbst gekochtem Dinner, selbstgemachter Marmelade und ersten Frühstückszutaten überrascht. Den kleinen Hobbygarten mit Gemüse und Kräutern durften wir auch nutzen. Selten haben wir so eine herzliche und freundliche Gastfreundschaft erlebt. Wir können dieses Haus, mit seine liebevollen Besitzern uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Zeer tevreden / très content

Wij hebben een ontzettend leuk verblijf gehad van 10 dagen in mei met z'n vijven. De ontvangst was geweldig: er stond een taart klaar, bloemen, fruit en we kregen een pastamaaltijd aangeboden, gekookt door de eigenaresse Sarah. Haar man Mimo spreekt zeer goed Frans en is ook onzettend aardig en gastvrij. De eerste ochtend heeft hij ons even laten zien waar de pizzeria, de bakker, de groente- en fruitmarkt en de supermarkt zijn. Erg handig! Op de enalaatste dag heeft hij ons nog naar een garage gebracht om een band te laten repareren. Mooi huis, erg schoon, fijne tuin met zwembad en vrij uitzicht. Gunstige ligging om naar het noordoosten en het zuidoosten te gaan. Erg fijn dat er 's ochtends volop zon in de tuin is en 's middags schaduw. Het is dan echt te heet om in de zon te zijn. Maar wil je ook 's middags in de brandende zon liggen, dan kan dat aan de andere kant van het huis: bij de keuken is ook nog een terras. Kortom: perfect huis, mooie omgeving vlakbij de Etna en zeer zeer aardige eigenaren. En bref en francais: très jolie maison, des propriétaires super gentils, un joli jardin avec du soleil et de l'ombre, aussi une terrasse à côté de la cuisine, un bon endroit pour faire connaissance avec l'environnement (le nord-est et le sud-est). Nous étions accueilli avec une tarte, des fleurs, du vin et des fruits et Sarah nous a fait un repas de pâtes, formidable! Son mari Mimo parle très bien le francais et il nous a montré le premier jour le pizzeria, le supermarché, le marché aux fruits et légumes, le Boulanger... super gentil!! Nous étions avec 5 personnes (2 enfants de 8 et 9 ans), tout le monde était contant!

Sara et Mimmo sont des personnes extremement agreables qui ont a Coeur de recevoir les gens. Un petit coin de paradis

Nous avons passé un séjour parfait dans un cadre idyllique. La maison est belle, pleine de charme, d'une propreté irréprochable, arrangée et décorée avec beaucoup de gout et super équipée. La piscine et le jardin ombragé sont très agréables et très bien entretenus. L'accueil des Propriétaires a été plus que chaleureux. Sara et Mimmo sont des personnes adorables, très généreuses, discrètes et serviables, et d'une gentillesse rare. Ils nous ont préparé deux merveilleux repas et nous ont reçus comme des membres de leur famille, ayant toujours pour nous plein de délicates attentions tout au long du séjour. De plus, Sara est une vraie Artiste, pleine de talent, qui a réalisé de magnifiques tableaux. Quant à Mimmo, il a énormément voyagé et a une culture immense. Comme il parle le français à la perfection, c'est passionnant d'avoir des conversations avec lui sur de multiples sujets. Nous recommandons vivement cette location tout à fait conforme à la description faite sur le site et ne manquerons pas de revenir une prochaine fois dans ce lieu si reposant pour retrouver ces Amis si attachants et généreux. Incroyable !

Que rajouter aux commentaires déjà dithyrambiques sur cette location et sur l'accueil si chaleureux de Mimmo et Sara? Disons que nous avons été reçus comme des princes (et nos petites filles comme des princesses!). Séjour fabuleux, maison extrêmement agréable à vivre, situation idéale pour visiter la Sicile, conseils précieux de nos hôtes (très disponibles et à l'écoute, en toute discrétion toutefois) et discussions géniales avec Mimmo, esprit fin et cultivé... Seul le temps n'était pas au rendez-vous mais ça, cela ne se commande pas !

séjour magnifique

"second séjour chez mimmo et Sarah environ 8 mois après notre premier séjour inoubliable. ce fut à nouveau magique. quels hôtes merveilleux. Mimmo et Sarah nous ont encore préparé plein de bonnes choses et nous ont fait découvrir plein de magnifiques coins. La villa est vraiment extraordinaire, on y est même mieux que chez soi. la cuisine est archicomplete et même au niveau des pièces de séjour, tout est extraordinaire! quel culture ce Mimmo et quelle gentilesse, tous les deux. Mimmo, nous a signalé qu''enfin depuis notre premier séjour, il avait eu pas mal de belges francophones et qu''il les appréciaient énormément. Il nous a demandé de refaire sa publicité, ce que nous faisons avec plaisir et sans aucune obligation tellement l''endroit et les proprios sont exceptionnels. Pour ceux qui auraient la crainte de la barrière de la langue, n''ayez aucune crainte, Mimmo a une excellente connaissance de plusieurs langues que ce soit le français, l''anglais et l''allemand et même l''espagnol. Si vous désirez découvrir cette magnifique Ile qu''est la Sicile et de façon unique, n''hésitez plus une seule seconde, foncez chez Mimo et Sarah et vous en reviendrez plein de joie, de bonheur et de soleil dans les yeux. La belle et grande demeure de Mimmo & Sara et très agréablement meublée et fonctionnelle. Le soin apporté au détail nous faisant nous sentir presque comme chez nous. La disponibilité, la discrétion et la très grande gentillesse des propriétaires nous ont comblé. ALLEZ-Y sans crainte ! J&M

Magnifique!!!!

Superbe villa et accueil des plus chaleureux

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse auprès de Sara et Mimmo. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons reçu un accueil digne des plus grands palaces : fleurs, gâteaux, souper. Nous nous sommes vraiment sentis "en famille" et très à l'aise dès le départ. Mimmo et Sara ont toujours été très disponibles, toujours de bons conseils et très discrets. Nous conseillons vivement cette location à tous les amoureux de la Sicile.

Environnement bruyant

La cuisine est bien équipée, le logement est propre. Le jardin et la piscine sont orientés à l'est donc à l'ombre tout l'après-midi. L'environnement est extrêmement bruyant : cris des voisins et aboiements de chiens toute la nuit. Le propriétaire vit dans le garage au sous-sol. Christine R. Paris

Si vous cherchez le parad...

Si vous cherchez le paradis, ne cherchez plus, nous l'avons trouvé. Mimo et Sara avec leur accueil, leur superbe villa, leur gentilesse, leur sourire, leurs conseils ont fait en sorte que notre séjour soit parfait. celà a commmencé par l'accueil à la sortie d'autoroute avec des fleurs pour mon épouse, ensuite les vraies pâtes à la carbonara de Sara. puis durant le séjour, les petits plats préparés ou offerts. La villa était magnifique spacieuse, complète bref, on se sent comme chez soi. La piscine nous a apporté fraicheur et bonheur et juste à côté, le potager de Mimo avec ses tomates, oignons, basilic, ciboulette, salades a ravi nos estomacs. Bref, si vous désirez découvrir la sicile en ayant contact avec de vrais siciliens accueillants et donnant pleins de bons conseils, n'hésitez plus, contactez Mimo et sara pour vos prochaines vacances. un pur bonheur!!

Sehr gut ausgestattetes u...

Sehr gut ausgestattetes und geräumiges Haus mit riesigem Pool und weitem Blick über den Bio-Schrebergarten (zur Mitbenutzung) des Vermieters und eine große Gärtnerei. Eine Oase der Ruhe. Geniale Lage auch für Ausflüge zum Aetna, nach Taormina, Catania, Syrakus und bis Enna. Aufs liebevollste umsorgt von Mimmo und Sara, denen es große Freude bereitet, einem den Aufenthalt so schön und einzigartig zu machen, wie nur möglich. Leider verging die Zeit viel zu schnell. Vielen Dank!!

Het was een mooi en comfo...

Het was een mooi en comfortabel huis. Alles was in voldoende mate aanwezig en goed onderhouden. Ook het zwembad was prima. We werden zeer hartelijk verwelkomd.

Recette pour un séjour inoubliable en Sicile: prenez un couple d’hôtes exceptionnels, Sara et Mimmo, accueillants, disponibles, toujours prévenants mais discrets. Ajoutez-y une maison spacieuse, confortable et très bien équipée, avec un jardin aux vrais fruits et légumes de saison. Situer le tout avec vue sur l’Etna et à proximité de sites d’exception. Réchauffer le tout sous le soleil sicilien et profiter. Encore merci à vous deux !
