"Great location, and loved the pool area-But very hilly … the mattresses were very uncomfortable. "

"It was easy to find the flat and plenty of parking. We stayed at level 3, room no 5. Unfortunately a very strong drainage smell was coming out of the toilet which stunk the bedroom. The curtains won't close. The shower was dirty. We alerted the owner of this who admitted there was a drainage issue in the building that has been causing the smell. He said at 10:30pm at night if we didnt like it we could leave. The next day, despite admitting to the problem the night before he then denied it...

"Lovely location to get the train to and from. Walking distance to a lot of nice bars and restaurants. The host was lovely and very helpful. You can use the washing machine which was helpful for we travelled hand luggage only. Apartment was large and had everything you needed, even a friendly cat that would visit the garden! Lovely beach to chill on. "

Very clean with comfy bed in sleeping room. 2 bathrooms. Fast wifi superb aircon. Ovearall perfect place in Catania clise to museums. Only half minute from alibus stops to airport metro and many buses. Almost at Via Etnea with many shops I will come back as soon as possible . Highly recommend. "

"We had a deeply disappointing experience at Zen Escape. Despite booking a Family Suite with 2 queen beds, we were given a smaller Deluxe Suite with only 1 bed and an unprepared sofa. "Overall experience was great. Staff was friendly, professional and all around great. Lots of outdoor areas to hangout and spend time outside. Pool area was nice. Minibar was stocked with good options and the prices are not bad comparing to other hotels I've stayed. It was almost cheaper to drink from the minibar vs. The actual hotel bar. Pool area was nice but maybe in the busy season it could get growded. Each room has Echo device with Alexa, so you can play music or get other information easily. The room i stayed was clean and good but some things were little outdated and rundown, some USB charging ports by the bed was not working, the thermostat screen and buttons were damaged but i was still able to turn down the temperature, i just couldn't see the actual temperature reading. But because the staff was so great and my stay was great, these things did not bother me. TV channels are all in italian, or at least the 100+ channels i scrolled thru, so if you like watching TV during your stay and don't understand the language, i recommend to bring your own movies or tv shows. I would stay here again. 1 night - room 109 - male 43 - shoe size 11"

"La Plage has magnificent views of the sea and the iconic Isola Bella. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the staff are friendly and attentive. Be aware that the beach is rocky and hard to walk on and it’s difficult to enter and exit the sea for a swim. It’s easy to get up to Taormina via the funivia (cable car) for a 10€ round trip. "
