Coralie was super friendly, helpful and a great host. The hotel is 2 mins from the beach and opposite a great Pizza restaurant which is always busy with locals. A wonderful stay!

Old hotel. They keep it clean and they’re very very nice people, but it’s not the nicest place, the walls are paper thin and you’re still 20 minutes from Taormina which isn’t mentioned in the description.

Wonderful staff and breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean. If I ever come back to Sicily, I would stay here. It is a bit out of the way if you're coming during off-peak season since the public transportation is scarce. I would rent a car next time.

What a fabulous family fun B&B. Donna Rosa, Coralie and Manuela were all fantastic! They are all so accommodating and want to ensure a fantastic experience for their guests. It should be noted that this hotel is a 30 second walk to the beach, and what a great breakfast!!!! Highly recommend.

What a wonderful stay! The owners are so helpful, the staff friendly, breakfast plentiful and a great driving distance to spend the day in Taormina! We travelled with our 5 month old and they were so accommodating. Grandma Donna Rosa is such a special and kind lady and so loving toward our baby, she has a special place in our hearts!

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. We had a great time because the owners of the hotel were personable and helpful. We developed a friendship with the matriarch of the family who owned the hotel! The hotel was in a nice location -highly recommended. You may think you want to stay in Taoromina proper, but it is way too busy and expensive. This hotel was in a location that allowed us to dine locally (excellent pizza and pasta right across the street), go to the beach, and then use public transportation or our rental car to go to Etna, the Aeolian islands, and shopping in Taoromina. Excellent wine was available in the hotel as was an authentic Sicilian breakfast. The rooms were charming and comfortable with a nice view.

1) Donna Rosa is a clean and well operated hotel that offers excellent value in a great location. The hotel staff was friendly and the breakfast was excellent! 2) The beach is very nice with clear waters and only five minutes walk from the hotel front door. 3) The hotel is less than fifteen minutes from Savoca, where the Godfather movie was filmed. There are lots of very picturesque vista points in Savoca. 4) The hotel owner and manager, Coralie, went out of her way to answer our questions and provided valuable tips to make our exploration of the area enjoyable.

A Sicily Home Away from Home

Hotel Donna Rosa is a home away from home. My husband and I stayed for three nights and were sad to leave. Carolie treated us like family and we met many wonderful travelers over breakfast. Which is delicious, by the way! The location is steps from the beach and near Taorima as well. We will definitely be back. 🌷

We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Donna Rosa! Everything was absolutely perfect the room was spotless, cozy, and beautifully designed. The location is peaceful and just a short walk to the beach. The breakfast was another highlight: fresh, delicious, and made with care a perfect start to each day. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the staff: incredibly warm, helpful, and professional. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home.
