「The Hotel was presented well on the drive up to the carpark, well maintained and clean, The entrance to the reception area was lovely, Christmas trees and plants a very nice touch. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful, a smooth check in. We got upgraded to a larger newly decorated room, which was spacious and clean, two negatives the bed was very hard for us , only our preference. The next was the room had a extraction system in it that ran all night which disrupt your sleep....

「Great food at breakfast with a good choice. Excellent meal and reasonably priced at Nelson’s with very attentive staff. Rooms very clean, lovely bathroom products available and well stocked tea/coffee tray with hot chocolate and shortbread biscuits. Spa area great, good sized pool. Hot tub, sauna and steam room. All staff were very pleasant from reception, spa and dining room staff. A brilliant stay.」

「All I can say about this amazing hotel is that it’s simply wonderful. I was deeply impressed by the hospitality of the staff. The castle was so big that I got lost several times, but the staff kindly helped me each time. Even though I didn’t have a restaurant reservation, they still provided breakfast and dinner without any issue, and I’m truly grateful for that. I would definitely love to stay here again on a special occasion.」
