Solo Trip

Went for 2 nights, room was very good, very comfortable bed, nice view from my room. Spa,was lovely, just what i expected and all in all a very pleasent stay

We Stayed at the weekend, on check in we wasn’t given the garden view room that we paid for. They had a private party at the hotel, not a problem we don’t mind music. But when other guests arrive back to their room at 1am shouting down the corridors and you can hear every word they say because the walls are paper thin! Then yes I have a problem. We hardly slept and had a long journey home the next day. At Breakfast I ordered a bacon cob when it arrived I had a sausage cob and the waitress made a scene instead of just excepting she made a mistake, so I just excepted the sausage even though it wasnt what I ordered. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again.

An excellent hotel

An excellent hotel with wonderful leisure facilities. The service from the staff in the bar was top rate. We were able to charge our electric car overnight. A relaxing and comfortable stay.

Hotel was very old and tired needs a re decoration .The room was a superior room which had cobwebs on the inside of the windows and a leaking drainpipe outside .Because it was raining it was like a runnng tap all night bouncing off the window ledge .Then the food I ordered was cod @ £23 when it come it literally was a piece of cod in a bowl nothing else .Breakfast was paid for as part of the stay but if you want a full English it is an extra £5 never have I seen this before overall poor experience and will not stay again .

Fabulous hotel !

Very enjoyable weekend, brilliant staff nothing was to much trouble for them and they were fantastic with our dog. The hotel its self is really nice and the gardens are lovely too.

We booked a Superior Deluxe Room. Our room #119 was spacious. The only negative on this room was the carpet, which needed a good cleaning. We dined in the hotel restaurant and had breakfast in the hotel. Our meals were very good. We did like that the hotel was dog friendly, even in the restaurants.

The hotel was neat and tidy, staff very friendly. Although the pool was well maintained and deigned very well, I was disappoint with the hot tub being a part of the pool and cold. The room was clean and beds were comfy. Although we didn't dine in the evening there, the full English breakfast was delicious.

We stayed for a romantic break away, sadly the hotel is undergoing renovation work, and the room we were given was very outdated and if we'd known ahead we wouldn't have booked. We found the building quite cold, we did however go in Feb so to be expected. The pool was ok, again quite cold, We reported all of this to the hotel, and in fairness they didn't give us a discount, The hotel will be great when all its rooms look like the pictures.

Characterful hotel with lovely spa & gym facilities. The hotel is a bit dated and in need of some referbishments. Our original assigned room was not made up when we got up to it and had to go back to reception. This seemed like a complete shock to the person on reception but the dirty linens were still on the floor, the un-made duvet and pillows were thrown on the bed and there was rubbish and used items from the tea set about the room. After the receptionist made a few quick phone calls we were assigned a new room. The new room was large with a huge bathroom including a shower and separate bathtub. There were signs of wear about the room, marks on the walls, etc.... but we had a lovely stay and it was comfortable.

Lovely stay in Chester area.

Very pleasant stay for a midweek break. The house is quite old, so expect creaky stairs, wood panelling and sash windows - all adds to the charm. Service was incredibly friendly and welcoming, would not hesitate to stay again. Easy access to the city centre.

Beautiful Hotel and Gardens - excellent value.

We stayed at Rowton Hall Hotel for 2 nights. Our room was spacious, very clean and was well serviced. All the staff were efficient & friendly. Breakfast was great and we really enjoyed a delicious snack one evening in the bar. We enjoyed a walk in the well kept grounds and gardens. We thought the whole stay was excellent value for money and we would recommend this hotel to anyone.
