A great stopover

A very friendly place to stay in the countryside south of Chester with well equipped modern rooms and good pub food all at very reasonable prices. Nice touches include very good fresh coffee in the room and excellent range of freshly cooked breakfast choices included in the room rate.

No air con, rooms are verry small and you can hear people in next door room. Staff are awesome except management seen to bring a pub management style. Good value for money, the rooms are stable conversations with maximum occupancy in mind rather than good stay.

Great stay

Received a phone call day before to see if I wanted to book a table for an evening meal. Check in service was quick and easy, polite staff Rooms are spacious , cute, clean & tidy. Breakfast was lovely and fast service. Stayed in this location due to attending a wedding at Carden Park Hotel, taxi ride was minutes away.

We have stayed her before, it's welcoming and a good breakfast, it can be busy for evening meals. Quite convenient for a visit into Chester too. I think the bedding needs looking into regarding buying new sheets and pillows.

Couldn't fault any part of our stay

Room was clean, comfortable and spacious with lovely views across Cheshire & North Wales. Food was awesome, and the staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. Lovely country pub with olde worlde feel in restaurant and boutique style bar area. Will use again in the future.

Faultless Hotel Experience

From the moment we arrived at this wonderful hotel we were treated with so much care and respect. The staff, from reception to kitchen etc couldn’t do enough for us. Everything about the hotel was great, we can’t wait to arrange our next stay here. I would say it’s probably one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had.

The property is adorable. The staff is absolutely amazing and beyond helpful. Emma in the restaurant is an absolute sweetheart. This hotel/restaurant will go above and beyond for your needs. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. I wish we would have stayed there longer.
