「The Yankee Peddler was everything I expected after reading past reviews. Perfectly located (walking distance to the Lobster Shack and the Newport Harbor, Int'l Tennis HOF, Audrain Car Museum...) with the free shuttle stop right at the bottom of the stairs. 「We loved the Ocean room, which was spacious and had a large bathroom and a little, well appointed, kitchenette. It was very comfortable and clean. Everyone we met was lovely. They are dog friendly and that worked well for us! Breakfast was not lavish or hot, but adequate- yogurt, pastries , fruit and coffee. My one quibble- the Inn is in a residential area about a 20-25 minute walk from any restaurants or shopping. So you had to drive, uber or plan to walk for 45 min (rt) if going to dinner or...

「Excellent choice. We booked four rooms and had an amazing time as we attended my nephews wedding at Bell net Goat Island only 2 miles from Town and tide. Beds so comfy. They have a communal handout area called The Shed. Breakfast daily 8-10am Beautiful property. Very friendly. I highly recommend this Newport stay.」
