It was a front loader and the rubber gasket was very dirty with mildew so I did not use it. Otherwise, the room was clean. "This is a very peaceful place to stay, even the restaurant was lovely. No blaring music and we could listen to the birds chirping while we ate. We will definitely be back!"

"The bed! The bed is amazing! I love this hotel. Keep in mind, the floors are hardwood so it can be noisy. I would stay on the second floor to avoid the foot noise. "

"Although we were disappointed that there was a glitch with our Expedia order for a king room, staff was very accommodating in finding the best option for us. The bed was comfortable which is a big deal for us. Decor is dated, but part of what drew us there was the history, so we didn't mind at all.
