"We've been coming to this hotel since 2014 and have enjoyed it every time we've been, this trip was completely different than our last, which was just last September. I'm not sure if it was a management change or an owner change, but it was a complete 180 from our previous experiences here. This trip was way understaffed, the restaurant was not open our entire stay, it was eating at the buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It would be nice to have had the option of sit down dinner and order of a menu dinner. During the day we spent our time at the beach snorkeling and swimming in the 'natural pool'. The beach bar didn't open till 1 and sometimes even after that. And the bartenders would disappear and the life guard would have to radio him to come make a drink. Come to find out, they were getting pulled from the bar to go work in the buffet for the lunch hours. This type of service is unacceptable. Hire some more workers so they are not spread so thin. Like I said, we've been coming for years and this might have been our last time ..... Makes me sad it was that bad to feel this way."
