Perched on top of a hill, a stone's throw from the village center of Paradou, Le Mas Paradou stands under the sun, like a treasure in the heart of the Alpilles Park. Here, it is Provence in its most exceptional dimension, far from crowds. Lavender, rosemary, century-old olive trees welcome visitors as soon as they arrive and a few meters higher, it is the sound of water from a fountain that attracts attention. It flows gently at the foot
of the house then cascades down to amuse and amaze.

The architecture of Le Mas Paradou elegantly combines traditional materials and modern structures, such as the large glass arches in the living room – dressed in Zimmer + Rohde or Elitis curtains – which open onto a terrace with brazier, and offer one of the most beautiful views of the Alpilles.

Here, no need to book to be sure to have the best table. Whether they are served in the shade of the pergola or on the impressive stone table in the large reception kitchen, meals are at Le Mas Paradou, an opportunity to bring together family and friends passing through. Breakfast bar, outdoor barbecue, everything is designed to ccommodate large tables, and cook in a friendly atmosphere. And to sublimate the treasures of the local terroir, a wine cellar, the jewel of the house, carefully preserves, away from the light, wines and liqueurs from the region. Each time of the day, gives this kitchen – or perch open to the outside – a very particular use. The coffee is savored still steaming in front of the sunrise, the cocktails are enjoyed at sunset, and the place is transformed into a giant observatory to admire the stars at nightfall.

Le Mas Paradou offers four spacious bedrooms – with bathrooms and organic toiletries – including a master suite, with a large dressing room, shower and generously sized bathtub. The decor is neat, balanced and inspiring. In warm tones, dressed in beautiful aged and patinated materials, they all offer a spectacular view and open onto the pool terrace, for a dip out of bed.

Activities:

A volleyball court, a fitness room and a petanque court are available for more or less athletic people. Hiking trails and cycle paths are easily accessible from the Mas. A state-of-the-art sauna and a massage room contribute in the same way to resting body and mind.
