"The entire resort was absolutely beautiful. The gardens outside were so well kept along with all the animals that live within the resort. I stayed on the very top of the tower. Those rooms are a bit dated but it was very comfortable and the view alone made the room more than worth it. The pool and hot tube were also amazing, the outdoor seating was very comfortable and a great spot to recharge after having a morning hike. I didn’t care for the food at the restaurant as much. I would rather get a bite to eat at a local taco spot. Shout out to the little taco place right next to the resort! But back to the resort. The staff at the front desk were fantastic, always more welcoming for any questions or concerns that I had. That place is ran like a fine machine. Would definitely stay here again! "

"Our stay at the Pacific Terrace Hotel was excellent from start to finish. We arrived late after a long drive from Las Vegas and initially found that our rooms weren’t connecting,though they were on the same floor. I’d definitely recommend requesting connecting rooms in advance if you’re booking more than one. That said, the manager, Jasleen, was incredibly helpful and quickly made arrangements so our rooms could be connected. The staff across the board was outstanding,welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. It really made a difference and elevated the entire experience. The hotel itself is beautiful. The pool is perfectly situated overlooking the beach, kept at an ideal temperature, and the hot spa was a great bonus,especially since it stays open until 10 PM. Breakfast was delicious, and having piña coladas by the pool felt like perfection. The kids loved the s’mores trays in the evening, which made for a fun and memorable treat. And the sunset's truly unforgettable. Location wise, this hotel is hard to beat. After exploring the area, nothing else seemed to offer the same combination of views, access, and overall value. The hotel also provides thoughtful amenities like bikes, beach chairs, towels, and even sand toys for kids. I’d highly recommend renting the bikes on your first day,it’s a great way to get familiar with the area and see what’s nearby. We visited Seal Rock and La Jolla Cove,both were incredible,and also enjoyed trips to the zoo and SeaWorld. There are"

"Overall it was an okay experience. We arrived at the check in time however, our room was still not ready. Housekeeping only occurred every second day. The room could use some more attention to detail when cleaning. High touch areas such as the fridge, door handles, and door frames (because there’s a barn door) were filthy. We were on the lower level so we could hear footsteps above. Walls were also super thin, we could hear loud music and conversations from other guests. The front counter closes over night so there is no one to report issues too. With that being said, the location was great because it’s so close to the beach. If travelling with a family, I’d suggest to go during the week as there are many bars/clubs close by. I’d recommend the hotel conduct a deep clean to ensure there is no residue from previous guests in high touch ateas and offer daily towel exchanges. "

"Steps from the beach! Huge plus! Family of four, we got a basic two queen room, which was clean. A/C worked well. Bathroom was small (not a big deal), but the shower was big, which is great. Water pressure great. My older kids enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard to chill outside. Not a big chain hotel, but they're clearly working on providing good rooms as I noticed a few rooms were going through a remodel process. Would stay here again. "
