「We found this place a few years ago and loved it. When we realized it was open for a last minute Mother’s Day weekend trip we jumped on it. What a great place. Unique, interesting, with plenty of room for everyone. We’ll be happy to stay again in the future. 」

「The property has some safety issues that need to be addressed. Master bed was comfortable. Didn’t sit outside as there were too many bugs. The host was communicative prior to arrival. 」

「We should have listened to the other reviews on this place, but unfortunately there wasn't much in the area to choose from. From the moment we walked in it smelled terrible, almost like a skunk smell. Obviously it's right on the Fox River so there's going to be bugs but a lot of the windows especially upstairs are not sealed right and in one of the bedrooms there were a ton of mosquitoes and other bugs all over the ceiling. Thankfully we found some ant spray in a random cabinet and were able to...

「Clean and roomy great for a fun weekend」

「It was great to have a little home base while we explore and hike the surrounding area. We also had it pretty nice and cool. Be warn, it doesn’t stay super cool all day as it was hot. It was around the 90s and the ac barely kept the place at 78 during the day. But you’re supposed to be out anyways. Pleasant stay.」

「We needed to book at trip at the last minute (2 days before, with dogs) and was very happy to find this available! The unit was just as expected and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. The location is walking distance to downtown Yorkeville (great food/bars, walking, etc) but also a park 2 blocks in the other direction so the dogs were very happy. 「It's a nice apartment, cheaply but competently renovated. There were cobwebs around when we arrived but otherwise it was clean. The beds are VERY nice, extremely comfortable which is so important. My biggest gripe, something not demonstrated in the listing, is the fact that the property directly borders an actve train teack, and when i say it's right outside I mean it is RIGHT outside. 「This is a large, clean place with good water pressure, air conditioning, and laundry facilities. The bathroom light is dim and the best mirror for shaving etc is in one of the bedrooms.
