Inaccurate listening description

We chose this house to have a hot tub and to be close to disney. In the liating it says you have to pay the fee to heat the pool...ok cool...closer to your trip you get more descriptive emails saying you have to pay more than 3 days ahead of your stay because it take a certain amount of time to kick in so i go ahead and rea h out to pay before i forget.They then tell me you have to stay a minimum of three nights to even pay the fee i only stayed two nights prior to knowing this amd still wouldve paid the fee for the extra night just so my kids could enjoy it. But they said that wasnt an option. So it gets closer to my vacation and i get more emails with different info its maybe five day before my vacation and it then states the pool amd hot tub run off the same heat which isnt in the listing details or i would've chose a different home to rent so i wasted over 700 for two nights to not be able to use.Got no where when i reached out with getting some sort of refund or anything it was a nice house but we wanted to swim and use the spa

Disney Vacation

The property is beautiful. The distance to Disney is perfect! The pool was perfect for the kids! The master bath was perfect for me!! The home was super clean and beautifully decorated! I would stay forever if we could. 100 percent recommend!

Clean, well stocked & great communication!

This was a great property for our family (3 generations). The kids loved the pool & game room and the adults loved having a shared and private area. It’s centrally located to everything. The team was very responsive & easy to work with.

Family vacation

The house accommodated is well. The grandkids enjoyed their own rooms. The master bedroom was spacious. Unfortunately, the mattress wasn’t comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with the essentials. It appears that the utensil drawer was previously broken and they attempted to glue it back. To my misfortune, when I opened it for a spatula, the face of it with the handle fell on my right foot causing a bruise with swelling. There was too much going on to report it at that time. Overall it was a great size house and we all enjoyed swimming in the pool and using the jacuzzi every day.

Great weekend!

Would definitely recommend this place. Great weekend getaway. Place was clean and loved that it was pet friendly. It was a great centralized location for my family with us being in South Florida and my kids in college in North Florida. If you are looking for a place to relax all weekend this is it. Beautiful Publix store for all your grocery needs across the street and the hibachi place in that plaza was pretty good too. This is definitely on our list of places to stay at again.

Comfy

We enjoyed this home it was so nice to feel as we were in our own home. The fresh linens, the clean atmosphere, all a welcome sight. Our only complaints were the neighbors loudness an party late into the night. The washer not working due to lock on it not locking, and the queen bed in front bedroom needs replacing. Glad to see owners take pride in having a nice home an allowing it to be rented. I hope other renters respect it and keep it is maintained.

Filthy and outdated

We booked this home for 4 nights . I will give an honest and thorough review about our stay. Check in is at 4pm. At 3:36 I emailed them asking if we could check in as we had been driving around for 2 hours, killing time. We were told no. Upon finally checking in, we were given a code for the door . What they failed to tell us is that we had to punch in code, then press another button, wait a few seconds, then press hard on the door latch for it to open. We had to figure it out ourselves. Cleanliness: The tile areas of the floor were dirty and look like they’ve not been mopped in months. The base boards were filthy. Not dusty, FILTHY. The walls throughout the home had black fingerprints and in some rooms, handprints. Side note, a gentleman left a review several months ago mentioning a dirty handprint on the king bathroom wall. It’s still there. The side of the refrigerator had dried food splattered on it. The fake plants, and there are many, we’re covered in dust. Not good for allergy sufferers. The ceiling fixtures in the 2 main bedrooms were full of dead bugs and the bathroom fixture in the Queen room had yellow stuff dried down one of the scones.Disgusting. Comfort: The beds are extremely outdated and none of us slept a full night because of the discomfort.The pillows are old as well, with no support. The bedspreads smell like they haven’t been cleaned in God knows how long . There aren’t enough bath towels, but there are plenty of towels for the pool area. The bedrooms had no clocks, which I found odd, but that was the least of our concerns. Kitchen: What little pots and pans you’re given are very old and the first pan and spatula I pulled out were dirty. There were plenty of plates and bowls , but not one dish towel. We had to use the ones from the bathrooms. Living room : There are many light switches, but half of them turn nothing on. Three remotes for the tv, but you had to figure out which works the tv. A table lamp with blown out bulbs and two lights were blown out in the dinning area. The washer/dryer are very dated and if you want to use fabric softener YOU have to go buy a downy ball cause there is no place to poor it in. The machine even specifies that. I tried to arm the alarm the first night and despite checking the doors and windows , I was repeatedly told something is unlocked. Nobody ever checked back with us to see if we got it working. This place was a huge disappointment!

Terrible experience and nothing done about it

I gave them several chances to keep me from giving them a bad review. As a business owner I understand how much a bad review can impact business. So I try avoiding reviews at all cost. However, it feels as if I am talking to a wall with these people. I contacted them to inform them of damages I discovered upon arrival. I wanted to make sure my family was not going to be accused of making these damages and incurre additional fees. Regardless some of the damages we’re disturbing. People work hard for their money and it wasn’t a few hundred dollars we spent to stay here. Broken and chewed up curtains Scuffs and marking through out the house including a wall boarder that appeared to be chewed on Bleach and what appeared to be blood or vomit stains on the carpet in the 2 main bedrooms of the house Door knob missing making it hard to open closet Pool screen door had a rip in it letting bugs in My son fell off of a pool chair because the PVC pipe it’s made of was broken and we didn’t notice it. Garbage disposal didn’t turn on Kitchen sink gets clogged after every use Hair blowers didn’t work Pool lights didn’t work Jets to the hot tub/small pool didn’t work. And of course since it was a vacation and we wanted to enjoy it, we even paid extra to make sure it was heated. They finally got someone to go fix it. But they arrived 30 minutes before check out. And last but not least the AC went out. This was definitely the cherry on top. Because of how terrible the communication was. 5 times I was told someone would be giving me a call. I had to call back 5 times because NOONE would follow up. It was never fixed. But the plot twister is the business we own is an HVAC business. We offered to fix it and send them an invoice just so we could enjoy our vacation. But they declined and said we would have it fixed that day but of course we didn’t. After they declined and the bad experiences we didn’t want to touch the unit and give them a reason to blame us. So my family’s “vacation” consisted of being/sleeping/eating/waking up in a house that would not go below 84 degrees and got as hot as 87. And of course only 2 of the fans in the house worked. So we made sure the asthmatic and 1 year old had a fan in their rooms. They offered to reimburse the hundred dollar and some change amenity fee. I have yet to be refunded anything. And to be honest after this experience I want it all refunded. I recommend you look elsewhere

Great for families

This house is centrally located near all major theme parks which is why we chose it. The pool was a great place to relax after spending the day in the parks. The games stations in the kids bedrooms were an added plus!! Will definitely stay again!!

DREAM HOME.. PERFECT!

We LOVED this home! I loved the minimalist approach to decorating. The house is beautiful but THANK GOD it's not over decorated with a lot of stuff. I LOVED THAT!! It is the most beautiful and perfect home we've ever stayed at in Florida! The pool was great! We spent most of our time at the house and loved every minute!

Unzufrieden, werden Vacasa meiden.

Pro Außen hübsch mit Palmen. Pool mit Heizung (mit Aussetzern). Schwimmtiere, viel Platz. Garage mit Billard + Co. Im Wohnzimmer großer Fernseher + großer Esstisch. Küche mit großem Kühlschrank, gutem Herd + Mikrowelle. Großer Vorratsraum. Master Bedroom mit weichem Bett + viel Platz, gut für Rollstuhlfahrer. Contra Alarmanlage + Schloss: Viel Ärger. Keine Anleitungen. Falsche Codes von Vacasa. Kein Schlüssel, nur Zahlenschloss. Ärger mit Alarmanlage hielt den ganzen Urlaub an. Schlimm: Bei deaktivierter Alarmanl. durften keine Fenster geöffnet werden, löste Alarm aus. Auf Frischluft musste man verzichten. Um zum Pool zu kommen, musste ein hoch angebrachten Knopf gedrückt + in wenigen Sekunden die Tür geschlossen werden, sonst Alarm. „Toll“ für Kinder und wie bei uns mit Mutter im Rollstuhl. Wir mussten sie immer in schnellster Zeit über die Stufe zum Pool hinaus- + hineinfahren. Lustig: In fast allen Bädern keine Alarmanl. an Fenstern! Unverständlich. Klimaanlage: Albtraum. Behielt keine Einstellungen. Zu zufälligen Zeiten Reset auf 72°F/22°C. Zu kalt für uns bei 35°C Außentemp. Feste Reset-Zeiten morgens um 7h + 9h. Ab 7 Uhr frieren + aufstehen zum Einstellen. Reset wieder nach wenigen Minuten. Vacasa keine Hilfe. Nach mehreren Nachrichten und versprochener Servicekraft, die nicht kam, gaben wir auf. Allgemein: KEINE Informationen zu Geräten wie Alarm-, Klimaanlage, Receiver etc. Kein Briefkasten! Pool: Boden raspelte Füße blutig. Screen überall gerissen. Rauchverbot auch am Pool, obwohl es dort niemanden gestört + der Wind den Rauch davongeträgt. Küche: Wasserkocher voller Kalk. Kein Messbecher. Kühlschrank oben drauf staubig + dreckig. Töpfe + Pfannen aus Vorzeit. Spülmaschine laut, am besten nur einschalten, wenn man das Haus verlässt. Schränke zu hoch, dekoriert mit Efeu, der sich in den Türen verfing. Wohn-/Esszimmer: Stühle des Esstisches abgenutzt + dreckig. Sofa ein Albtraum. Rutschig, in einzelne kleinere Sessel unterteilt, sodass diese immer verrutscht sind. Bäder + Schlafzimmer: Toiletten innen schwarz vor Dreck. Tür des Bades im Master nicht abschließbar. Warmes Wasser erst nach ca. 1 – 2 Min. Kommoden teils kaputt mit heraushängenden Schubladen. In mehreren Schlafzimmern Chipskrümel + Taschentücher. Die Betten waren, außer Master, schrecklich. Schränke + Türen im Master kaputt + konnten nicht geöffnet oder geschlossen werden. Steinhart, man lag direkt auf den Federn. Einige Decken wohl lange nicht mehr gewaschen worden.

One to Miss

We have been renting vacation properties every year in Florida for the past 10 years and this was the first time we have rented from a corporate owner. And it will be the last. From the start they were unable to give clear and precise instructions on entry into the house, we had to work it out from what they gave us. The furnishings were in poor condition; inside the breakfast table had 3 of the 4 legs supported by drink mats and the glass coffee table only had 3 of the 4 legs in contact with the floor - an accident waiting to happen! One of the bar stools was broken and could not be used. The sliding doors to the lanai were blocked with dirty 4 inch x 2 inch pieces of timber. The blinds at the windows have not been maintained and either failed to operate as they should or were very difficult to use. Outside, the small pool side table was covered with algae as were 2 of the sun loungers and could not be used. The house had only been superficially cleaned as there was a lot of dirt around the skirting boards, behind the TVs and the windows were filthy. Our experience has been that owners provide leaflets or brochures on places of interest or places to go; here there was nothing. The alarm system became an annoyance as it beeped every time an outside door was opened, and the full alarm went off if the door was left open for more than a minute. While this may be a safety feature with families with children it was contradicted by the risks inside of the glass table, breakfast table and bar stool.
