"The room floors (carpet and tiles) were dirty. You can tell it hasn’t been mopped or vacuumed consistently. There was sewer smell inside the bathroom. Even when the air conditioning was turned on, you’ll be welcomed by entering the room with a musty smell, not sure if it was from the vent. Upon check out, I was told that there was a missing face towel and would be charged for it. I asked them to recheck because I am not interested in keeping any of their old, used, and smelly towels. The person checking said everything was accounted for. The hotel needs maintenance."

"We had a wonderful time overall and truly enjoyed the property’s beautiful location and charming atmosphere. It’s an ideal setting for a romantic getaway — peaceful, intimate, and full of character. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and eager to help, which really enhanced our experience. That said, there were a few issues that detracted slightly from our stay. The room unfortunately had little to no hot water, and the water pressure was quite low, which made showering less enjoyable. Additionally, the jacuzzi tub was not operable as advertised, which was disappointing since it was one of the features we were most looking forward to using. The dining area, while still warm and inviting, felt a bit dated and weathered. With some updates and a general refresh, the space — and the property overall — could truly match the incredible potential it already has. Despite these drawbacks, it’s still a lovely place to stay with a lot of charm. "A staff member accessed our room in middle of night (after midnight) when we were sleeping. Used key card to open door without knocking, turned the lights on then off, then closed the door and left. I complained to front desk staff as that is unsafe for anyone to barge in like that. There was no extra security lock on their door. "
