"This property was a lucky last minute find. Only 15 minutes from UMD, where my son attends. Can safely have windows open overnight and let the Lake Superior waves lull you to sleep. It is a basement apartment and home owners were not present, so I can’t speak on that. Very nice patio with grill as well as wood burning chiminea, both of which we used and enjoyed immensely. Thank you for sharing your property."

"Started w/ very friendly and warm welcome . All I need after a long drive . And very accommodating. The whole facility is very clean and safe .Our room was very spacious and clean as well as the bathroom and deep tub . Good breakfast food , many choices and live that coffee and water is 24/7 ! Available for guests . Wish we knew that we could’ve eaten our breakfast in the back lobby overlooking the lake . Will for sure go back again !! "

"Place was clean. Location was great. Here are things I’d add: 1. Add inexpensive but classy to go w the current design: Basic corner shelving in shower for personal items guests bring so they don’t sit on shower floor 2. Basic drawers for bedroom area 3. Might want to use a nicer natural smelling floor wash (soap). Room smelled clean but product used was quite noticeable and somewhat bleachy scent to it. 4. Valence of window wear on middle window in our room (505) was missing. Loved the kitchen and amenities. Would have been wonderful to get some fresh air through windows…. Overall, lovely place."

"Elevators were not working. Never could get to the top to use the restaurant during restaurant hours. Had to go to main floor for water for the coffee makers. no vending machines on 3rd floor. The air conditioning in my room did not work the entire stay. No air circulation or cold air so stuffy. There were more vehicles that parking spaces. Serious upgrades needed for this hotel."
