「My friend and I stayed unexpectedly due to a power outage at our planned hotel. Staying at Fitger’s was the best decision we could’ve made! Checking in with Geoff was amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Our room was beautiful and we loved all the options for dinner and drinks. I’ll definitely be back (as a first choice hotel, not a backup plan!)」
「Nice restored mansion with small, but comgortable rooms. Private bathroom & tub/shower combo, with small frig/freezer and coffee maker. A plus was the pot-belly gas stove for warming on cool Duluth mornings & evenings. Overall, very comfortable. Brule Retreat room was up one flight of stairs.」
「I stayed with my family and found the room really nice, spacious, fully equipped. My wifed liked being able to cook in the kitchen. We went to Cub store in the neighborhood (actually it only take a few minutes on foot from the hotel.) and got some grocery, cooked in the room. Very comfortable stay.」
「The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. We noticed that the mop boards were missing in the hallway (on the first floor). Are you in the process of replacing them? The initial appearance seemed to be that the hotel was in disarray, but hopefully replacement is the reason for the missing mopboards. First impressions are important. Perhaps a sign letting people know why would ease their minds.」
「Couldn’t ask for anything more. Wife and I joined daughter’s family of 4 including 3 and 5yo in a roomy room with 2 queen beds. So: 6 adults and 3 small kids. Everyone enjoyed their 2 night stay in this rather new hotel. Awesome staff and cleanliness is top notch. 」
